You are wrong on both counts, pronounciation as well as spelling.
"zuad' is not pronounced the same way as "zay" even by original urdu standards, ask someone. since you are so chummy with the feroz ul lughat ppl, put a shout out to them :D
as far as established words, Ramadan is the proper pronounciation both by arabic and english standards. You are forcing your standards on people just as you are accusing others of forcing their standards to you.
Ramzaan is established in pakistan fine. so when i speak in urdu fine I will say ramzaan but when speaking in english, as well as writing in english I will use the spelling as well as the pronounciation accepted here.

Wats all the fuss about......Ramadan, Wodi, Suhoor, Iftaar etc etc...these are all Arabic words so try to pronounce them as perfectly as u can. I cant understang the logic of Ramzaan being a valid pronounciation. If some desi twists and turns English words.....every one makes fun of him...but in the case of Arabic, the language of our religion...we'v made up our own vocabulary, and on top of that we argue that what we say is rite...

Ramazan is not part of the urdu vernacular. Its a Proper Noun. Name of a month of the Islamic Calendar...which is in Arabic. We have continued to use the name Ramadan and have started pronouncing as Ramazan cause the "dhuad' in arabic is pronounced as "zuad" in urdu.
Iam really impressed with ur love for the Urdu language and urdu pronounciation, and I bet you have no problem pronounicng the month April as "aprayl" cause thats how u pronounce it in Pakistan, or "stambar" instead of September, or "agast" instead of August.
so those who are more ‘Pakistani’ and assimilated with the culture should continue to say Ramzan.
and there is nothing wrong in calling it Aprayl or Sitambar.. that’s how it’s written in the urdu language and it’s definitely better than trying to fake your “duaads” …
