Pehla Pehla Pyar music sales soaring

Film 'Pehla Pehla Pyar' due for release on August 12 has been delayed but its audio music cassettes' sale is high.
The film was delayed as its final prints could not reach Pakistan in time to meet the release deadline. Director of the film Mubasher Lucman, who has come back from Bangkok with the final prints, while talking to The Nation Plus said that the delay was unavoidable as he fell ill there. "I was hospitalised for a couple of days and that caused the delay. The other day we showed the film to the cast and crew at Gulistan Cinema in Lahore. The film will go for censors today," he said.
He confirmed that the sale of audio music cassettes of the film was going very well. He said more than 150,000 cassettes have been sold across the country.

by the way I met Umer Sharif yesterday evening at the hospital. He is recovering fast and will be back home by Friday. woooooooohooooooooooooooo!! 150,000 sales, that is smashing stuff for a Pak film album. The biggest sales for a film soundtrack after Sargam, I guess?
Mr Lucman it’s really great you’re letting people like Omar SHarif know about this forum. Try to spread all the goodwill around and get as many celebrities as you can to log online to SHowbiz Pakistan!!

The promos of your film look extremely slick. I for one couldn't tell the difference between it and anyother big budget indian film (Infact its far superior). Why don't you release it in other countries i.e. UK . If indian films can beocme a success there than your film stands a much better chance.
Resham is looking really good in the film. Apart from her, the costumes, the shots, the music, and everything else rocks!

Thanks a lot for your kind words. Yes we are trying to release it worldwide and there are some plans in the pipeline for it.

Bollybuster i have already passed on teh forum to a few like Umer Shareef, Resham, Ali Tabish, Sajid Hassan, Syed NOor, Saima, Shahzad Rafique and a few others by now. Not many of them are web savy but hopefully in time you may get them online from time to time or I can ask them to give messages and i can post them on their behalf. I shall however meet Shoaib mansur today and pass it on to him as well and he surely will come online for all I know. I will request him to do so.

Wow! that would be great if you could get them all online especially Shoaib Mansoor coz’ I have never heard his interviews or seen him on television(might be media shy ?) . Somehow, he seems enigmatic to me.
By the way, could you ask him whom has he finally cast in his film?

Shoaib Mansoor's Anarkali video was one of the BEST ever i have watched and if the video quality in our movies can be as good as "ANARKALI" then we will definitely get many many HITS a year.
I would love to read his interview on this forum.....................let's wait :-)

you cant have hadiqa's voice on saima as they did in a film..

i have seen the advert on geo, but still promotions in uk are very poor and promo hardly comes on tv.

the point was the difference between pop and playback singing
i still wont like hadiqa aur jawad’s voice in a filmi song being picturised on other individuals.. cnt even think of ne that’ll match their voices
but shabnam majeed, fariha pervaiz are singing TV Drama sound tracks which are excellent.. their voices wud definetely do for filmi playback..

I really have to make time for it but I cant complain as I think I am addicted to it. It has also helped me make some new and very good friends on the web and I look forward to their inputs, observations and suggestions regularly. I also get an immense amount of new thoughts and I feel they are important for my own education on a continued basis we all need it so often and fail to get it. I also have to make time out for some friends who come on my chat forums and chat with me. They need answers and I feel obligated as they know me because of my profession so I might as well share it with them. I felt a lot of pressures entering this arena as no one was willing to talk to me or guide me and I wasted many years in trying to learn the essential and basic ropes of the trade. I just wish that other youngsters following should not waste their time and get a head start. We too need them....
