Re: Question for Mr Lucman / Mubasher Lucman Corner (Merged)
On one of the shows on Geo or ARY they were telling that thi smovie was the worst of all movies that were a part of this festival. I remembered it was this movei wehn the lady delivering the gossip said something about mr. lucman too. Feedback wasn;t good AT ALL.

Well, beign a critic(not official) but every one can be a critic who gives opinion on films i would like to say this.
The film won lot’s of attention when it’s promos first started to air but then it lost every thing when it got postponed. The film got delayed for about half an year and now when it is finally releasing according to my view and my poll “the Film Has Lost It’s Charm Due To It’s Delay”.You have to stand right and release your film on the given date like Reema Khan did and released Koi Tujh Sa Kahaan on date and it got a 100% opening in Lahore.
The promotions are not high either. If i was the producer i would try to.
1)Make the promos go on air before 1 month of it’s release on channels like ARY,Indus,GEO and a complete musical channel like IM.
2)Spread the posters every where
3)Do a Premier Show and manage to get more and more media
4)Do some press conference
Every one should remember “Promotion Is The Key” and i say that Lucman still got the time.He need to make sure that he goes high on the promotion side.Currently films like “KTSIPH,WAR OF THE WORLDS,KTSK and most recently King Kong” has forced viewers to be back to cinema. This is the best time to release the film.Just some promotion is needed.

The Premiere of the film was held in Karachi over the weekend. By all accounts it went pretty well and alot of people attended the premiere. They all liked what they saw but the real test is going to start on the 11th.

^^ Seems like Mr Lucman gets the last laugh after all! Pehla Pyaar has opened to fabulous response indeed, the theatres are supposedly packed. Wunder how he pulled that one up conisdering the publicity was so bad! Anyway, this is great let’s hope the film sustains it’s thunderous momentum and rakes in tons for the producers who chose to make a film at a time when no one dares to!
Re: Question for Mr Lucman / Mubasher Lucman Corner (Merged)
well look wat the post and the news has tp say about it
Pakistani cinema is on decline. This can be judged from the fact that on Eidul Azha five films were released but none of them could pull the crowds to the cinema halls.
However, King Kong, did wonderful business.
The five films included three Punjabi and two Urdu films.
The said films had all the masala but they crashed at the box office.

*The News International *
*On the film front, the Holywood production 'Kingkong' remained on the top of the list of the film-goers, and gave a good time to the cinema owners. 'Jism' was also a success story during Eid days while heavily invested big movies like 'Pehla Pehla Piyar', 'Athra', 'Madam Dihari Dar', and 'Shareef Gujar' could not do as good as it was being expected. *
