Two days back, I was watching “Phillauri” movie. The bridegroom’s respected grandmother use to say “Le” before most of her dialogues. For instance, in one scene, the bridegroom says he needs to find himself then someone puts him and the her would-be infront of a mirror, then the grandmother said something like “le..gall hi khatam..jhappi pao”. People mistakenly might assume that the “Le” in your nick is that Le so you should change your nick. If you like to have L and P as first letters of your nick then “Lachchha Parantha” would be best :k:

The “le” in “le …gall hi khatam” is another variant of the word “lo” …which means “take this”…or “here you go.”
The “le” in Le Pakistan is basically an article that precedes a noun, tells you the gender of the noun, and also indicates whether it is singular or plural. Pakistan is a masculine noun, hence it is preceded by “le.” Feminine nouns are preceded by “la,” and nouns in the plural form are preceded by “les” irrespective of gender.

India is a feminine noun so “La” is placed before India. From now onwards India-Pak cricket series threads should be called as “LeLa” threads

My first question is - What is the meaning of “ni” in Punjabi?
In the song “Ni main yaar manana ni”, ni does not mean “no” and in “May ni maye munder pe teri” ni means “O” but in the song “jaani tere na”, ni means “no”.
Second question is - What does “shaava” mean?
Google search tells that balle means “hurray” and shaava means “shabash”
Is the “shaave” in the Sindhi song “Ho Jamalo” by Shazia Khushk same as Punjabi “shaava”?
