Yesterday's Episode was another good one.....Sania played her role well...i loved the way her puppi played her role...she was gr8....brothers were so nikamay.....chacha sahib played his role well....nadia jamil good as usual..........

^

yesterday's episode was really good. Sania did a wodnerful job.

actully this episode, Phanchi was about something that is very ordinary and that is doubting our behen, baitiyan’s character. It was so ordinary and simple that it’s kinda hard to comment on it. The final interpertation ofcourse, that girl’s in our middle class society are trapped like “panchis” which refuse to fly even when the door of the cage is open.

God job Mahreen for the dedication message at the end.:k:

p.s. the episode about Hijras was called Shinakht and Rashid Faroqui is the guy’s name who played the reporter and the hijra.

is this coming on tonight or is it back to once a week?

no, I don't think so. WC is over, LB is scheduled to air tonight.

In that episode when Sania asks her brothers for a ride and
they make excuses not to take her, can someone plz explain
to me why they were so reluctunt?

I coudn't understand why? maybe in some parts of pakistan they dont like being seen giving a lift to family members? they felt ashamed for what ever silly reason?

last night Kahanyian was schduled to air but due to war coflict they put on a political show and only last 10 minutes of the episode was aired. Whatever I saw was great but confusing. All of the characters had their orignal names and then they went in public for their thoughts of their work and I thought probably Kahaniyan ended but then later when Sania was shot and they episode ended with her death making a news headline, I realized it was drama in a drama. I’m probably not making sense either  but i’ll catch the re-run tonight and see what happend actully.

yea it didn't make any sense, it was on just for a little while, couldn't understand what was going on.

i thought she really dies.. thats soo sick.. atleast tell the audience thats shes not dead.. if a character dies.. we all kno its fake but if the actor plays himself an then dies.. what the heck... i mean i kno it would ruin the whole thing an the audience wouldnt be left wonderin.. but still what the heck yaaar... i was sittin in there in "SHOCK AND AWE"

The episode "Jazba-e-Dil" aired again tonight and this time it was the whole thing. I really loved it, especially the way they ended it. All the characters did a good job and it was a different kind of episode, it took my parents a while to understand the whole thing as it was happening.

yeah I saw it too but still I got confused at few instances. The only way I could defrenciate between the actors of Khaniyan and actors of Jazba-e-dil was the JD actor's lousy and artificial acting and made me realize they're doing a drama. But the acting of Kahaniyan's actor's was like always top notch.

This time around Mehreen targeted air firing that people do in marriages. It is very dangerous. My aunt got shot on the roof in Lahore because of people firing at a marriage in the neighborhood but luckly it was just a small injury.

i missed it...but it's recorded so i'll watch it when i get time......

assalamoalikum :jhanda:

i have noticed that lately ptv prime has become more of a political channel then a family entertainment channel + apart from dramas it doesn’t have much to offer so i have decided to part company with them when my subscription expires in november, i’m going to their rival channel ARYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY DIGITAL i want to try them for a year and see who is best!!!

Though I agree with the political part but that is due to the latest cirsis. But apart from dramas the shows that I like to watch every week is Sur Street, Profile, Rhythm, Family Front, Public Bolti Hai, Jo Janey Woh Jeetay and Mera Ghar Ik Whirpool. I think that's a good selection of shows and for me atleast it's twice more than on any other channel.

Lamha

Second episode of Marina khan. Superb performence :k: Yasir again fitted his role like a glove. But Marina…god I can’t commend her enough. The rest seemed good. Over all a nice episode. Not somthing that we don’t hear or see in the news or see it happen ourselves.

I had also read a short story of something like that in high school. A hit and run case where a mother of three children hits her neighbors’ daughter and flees. The rest of the story resolves around her guilty conscience until to a point where she faces her guilt.

Lamha…Yeah it seemed like a god episode and Marina was doing an excellent job. Can you please explain what happened after Marina got slapped by Yasir’s mother and she went home, because I missed the rest of the episode.

the next day she returned back. This time around she met Riaz (Yasir) who had been paralyzed. Yasir tells her to get lost and never return. In the next scene she aplogizes to his sister, Nadia. Marina then refuses to marry Humanyun 'cuz apparently he didn't understand why she went their. In comming stil of events, she occasionally pays Yasir's visit. She fills tuition fee for Nadia, buys Yasir his cinema books does everything to get over her guilt. Yasir refuses to forgive and also punish. Marina's stance, he would someday choose one of them. The episode ends with Yasir appreciating her bringing her Noor Jahan's poster and the books and tells her to buy another one of the book by the same artist.

Hope that clears up. But you'd be better off watching the re run tomorrow as this episode offers some suave acting and dialogues.

Man!! great episode :k: I was really looking forward to this one.

Yasir and Marina did great jobs :k:
