by the way it stars Sania and Hamuyun Saeed and a few other good charcters one is nida pasha (jannat, nisha from wafa kay mausam)'s husband dont know what his name is.
this one i'm really lookin' forward too. All there is on prime currently is cheezy dialogues, non sense love stories, loud and poor preformers. This drama is looking great both, visually and story wise. I just hope there are no cheezy lines (which i doubt there will be) and acting, I have faith in Humanyun and Sania needs no justification.

truly we must have more actors than just humayun. too much humayun and not enough vaneeza, no wonder pakistanis are always so angry!
what're u guys talkin' about? the whole year last year prime only aired 2 plays of his, Sauraj Girhan and Shaid Ke bahar aye. And now after a long brake he's appearing. If you don't like him that's another case but definatly not true that he's in every other play.
If you had said the same about Kashif Mehmood i would've blindly agreed.
Anways, the drama looks good. Every week there will be new stories, as title gives clues "Kahaniyan". And hopefully we'll be spared over acting, cheezy dialogues and annoying actors, like doc above said. Why can't there be more plays like Behlawa and Sawan.
by the way where is vaneeeeza???? i haven't seen her drama in ages......kya kar rahi hai aaj kal?

i think you have a good taste in dramas...
i'm sick of chand chehra, dil lagi and naye morr paye type dramas...wafa kay mausam, shayad kay bahar aye are the only good ones at the mo....

Yes, I watched Kahaniyan on PTV when I was in Pakistan last year. Its new story every episode, and the cast always includes Humayun Saeed, Yasir Nawaz, Sania Saeed and Nadia Jamil (all 4 good actors) in different characters every time. Mehreen Jabbar is the director and she is very talented. Kahaniyah is a great drama.
And yes, they showed all the episodes on PTV last year.
Wonderful drama. Really nice. My brother, who never watches Pakistani dramas, was glued to the TV after watching 5 mins of this drama. :k: This is certainly one of the best dramas in a long time :k:
Finally man, finally. I was fed up with these non-orginal characters who're trying to be cute by giving these dumb and annoying facial expression and on top of that so god damn cheezy lines. And this isn't only the Pakistani dramas, indian god damn movies are so full of cheezy lines and over acting.
Finally after Behlawa Prime aired a decent play. Orginal characters who're busy with their daily lives are played so beautifully and flawlessly that it's this easy to adapt to them. All of the relationships between the characters are orignal and life like. Not for an instant you feel like characters are delivering cheap dialogues. Be it the relationship between the three friends or mother and daughter or older women with a younger guy.
Sania and Sameena were flawless in their mother daughter realtionship and ditto for Humanyun and Yasir Nawaz.
The best scene for me was when Yasir finds out that his best buddy is going out with his mother inlaw to be. He was like, "oyi sarey sheher mein tujhey sirf mere hi saas mili thi, sharm niehien ayi tuhey" lol humanyun, "nehien ayi bhai, kiya ker lay ga tu". Yasir, "mein tujhey apna suser manney say inkar karta hoon" and he's like "tu mein tujhey apna damad manney se inkar karta hoon"
I dunno about you but that was the best scene i have ever come across in a long while
I like the controversial theme.. although watching my parents make faces while Sameena and Humayun took a stroll along the beach was funnier.

this episode was repeated sunday 1.45pm i think....watch the next one and if u miss it , watch the repeat...
