I agree with jaanwar too, that this generalization is actually baseless.. now all the slightly older and unmarried girls can blv that they're not pretty and hence unmarried.. marriage comes with kismet not superficial features!

Had u're assumption been even a fraction true, all average girls wud have gotten plastic surgery done and gotten married..
When I started to go to Karachi university. One observation I made and I used to talk to my friends about was that the girls who were in higher classes like last years of their bachelors or masters were mostly average looking. If we came across some pretty girl she was either be married (nikah) or engaged. Share your thoughts if you like.
I don't know if they get married earlier or not but pretty girls do get away with murder though.
Unfortunately it's the sad reality that MOST people are willing to bypass the most defective personality traits to have a pretty wife/bahu.
