Re: Pretty girls get married at and early age.
so can it be safe to assume that generally speaking pretty girls get married or engaged early?

Re: Pretty girls get married at and early age.
^ thats the best thing about 'assumptions' - they are your own. You can vary your assumptions as far and wild as the mind goes.
This is only an assumption, I know plenty of VERY pretty girls..that are "gharelu" too and yet still unmarried.. yes men might get attracted to their superficial beauty but a couple needs to "click" (as cliched as it may sound) in order to make it long-term.
Re: Pretty girls get married at and early age.
…kya thread hai, I dont know of ANY goodlooking gals who are not married,…![]()
:rotf:
I feel for you brother , it depends on your own luck too. Keep trying. ![]()
Yep it is an assumption and a safe generalization . There are always exceptions. ![]()
So you agree , right ? See I am never wrong. ![]()
Re: Pretty girls get married at and early age.
hmmm i think it works both ways. I know some ugly girls who were married young, and some utterly gorgeous girls who wernt married till they were in their late 20s - early 30s. it depends on what the guy is looking for...pretty bride/mature bride.
Mirch - no disrespect but thats a rather stupid generalization based on an assumption that you came up with just by chasing the chicks in your university.
I believe you are married? I am not, hence by the general principle you are more 'qualified' to pass such statements/judgments. However, people have different perceptions and expectations about marriage, and everybody has a different frame of mind and attitude towards getting and being married.
Based on your research, we can also conclude that the relatively uglier ones prosper in their education and careers - the prettier ones are busy breeding.
Hey buddy hold your horses, everything in life is not a generalization and stupid.
By simply saying that you intend no disrespect does not make your opening remarks disrespectful.
If you intended no disrespect you could just simply say that you do not agree with my POV and you think it is a gross generalization but you chose to called it "stupid generalization" which sounds very disrespectful to me.

Well I had an idea you wont like what I posted - alright that was disrespectful I agree and apologize.
You know what though, being a very senior member and a 'channel manager', I thought you would be much more considerate and would have thought twice before posting what you posted. I am not an ugly older girl who couldnt get married, yet I found your generalization rather insulting to many.
Lets just say I had better expectations of you.

You do not like my observation that is fine , you have the right to disagree and post your disagreement , that is good too.
The motive behind these forums , threads , posts is to make people talk.
Let them share their observations , ideas and thoughts . Many people are disagreeing with me , I have no problem and issue with that. I do not expect everybody to agree to me . But there are many who agree with me too on this.
Once I feel that there are enough arguments against my stance I will change my stance. That was the purpose of this thread.
In the opening post I said share your thoughts , it means that I am passing any judgments I am looking to be corrected if someone can convince me.

I see what you are saying, I agree on the part where someone posts their views and then there is a discussion on it. But then its a combination of what is said and how it is said. As a moderator/channel manager perhaps you could be a little politically correct in posting a point for discussion? Like maybe when touching a topic which could be sensitive to some?
Maybe I am not making much sense here, but its just that the way you had opened this issue for discussion, I found it quite insulting to those girls who are not married for any reason - and, according to our standards, have passed the age where they should have gotten married. Maybe it would not have seemed so inappropriate coming from just any other member like me instead of a forum moderator.
Re: Pretty girls get married at and early age.
Mirch Uncle, Jaanwar is on to something. I second him completely.
Now, about pretty girls - I think too much of anything is a curse, girls that are drop dead gorgeous attract many many guys starting Grade 7. Most gorgeous girls I know are somewhat of bimbos because of all the attention they've been getting since childhood. They move on from one guy to another and get married later. I'm keeping three particular Beauties in mind when saying this.
Now, on the other hand, most of my "below-average-looking" friends/acquaintances were married off by 16/17 to Uncles. Their parents accepted anyone half-decent with a full-time job while they were in high school and they were married off. I am keeping 2 of my middle school friends while saying this.
So, too much of nothing is good - too much beauty is a curse for some women and it also goes the other way.
Re: Pretty girls get married at and early age.
allah ka shuker hai i am married!
13th feb ko ek saal! :p
Re: Pretty girls get married at and early age.
^ good for you.
Re: Pretty girls get married at and early age.
Guess its based on demographics, but all the pretty girls in my extended family got married in their early 20s.

I don't want to lie by being politically correct. I say it as I see it.
And yes you are not making any sense , that is not a lie and it is not out of any hate for you or your view point , that is not a lie either I do not want to be politically correct.
I am a guppy first at my heart , then I am Channel Manager. If my being Channel Manager will be a hindrance in saying what I want to say on public forums ,that too politely , then I will be better of being just a guppy.
^ good for you.
ahaan

This is quite an emotional reply for a grown man. I dont want to be stubborn and stick to arguing with you, although given the emotions and bias in your replies its obvious what quality arguments you have in stock. And since it is so important for you to be right, I will let you have it.
If you find it too hard to be polite, act mature and not offend people, perhaps you being a guppy and not a 'channel manager' would be a good idea. Yes, this is my own opinion, I know you are not bound to agree with me. Carry on with what noble deed you are doing.
Re: Pretty girls get married at and early age.
I know many gals who are gorgeous, good looking and yet they are not married but they have been involved in other dody relationship and most of them are arrogant (no offence to anyone here), that tells me a lot. I guess its becuase of the attention they get from guyz! ![]()
You started calling my observations stupid generalizations and you are giving me a long bhashan(lecture ) on being polite. :masha2:
