yep that is true especially when they know that they are beautiful cuz if parents dont get them marry they find a guy themselves.

Although, in the US most people think u are or were in danger of becoming khraab so ur parents got u MARRIED(not engaged) before the age of 20.

My hubby's cousin - she was about 14-16 and so pretty. She would get rishtas left right and center. EVERY ONE - each families who saw her took a chance in proposing...
her parents kept on saying she's too young and never accepted any rishtas. Few years passed by and she was still getting just as much attention...
Today she is about 26-28? I'm not sure - but she is still UNMARRIED. The problem was when she was young - they let go of sooooooooo many good families - rich families - and good in general families.
Today they are having difficulty - finding someone right...

The families who proposed were not wrong because - they did not know her age. She looked pretty mature for a 14-16 yr old.
She could easily pass for a 19 year old.
(normally - the age factor is asked after some introduction. .. but families just assumed she was at the right age).

Attractive females use their youth and beauty to marry into wealth and nobility. So they are likely to get married earlier.
Whilst the unsightly creatures concentrate on their education and careers to buy themselves prosperity. So they are likely to get married later.

I think pretty girls do get hooked, if not married, at an early age. Wherever they go, be it school, work or functions etc., they get a lot of attention, which means that there would be men wanting to be with them at any age. In the West this phenomenon holds as well, except that marriage is not as much a part of the equation. If a girl is pretty, considerably more men would be interested in her, and chances are that she would like at least some of them, so there is a higher probability of getting hitched at an early age.

Yes,absolutely true!Prettier girls get married at an early ages.I know one of our family friends who have got a very beautiful and pretty younger daughter,and now,because she looks attractive and pretty,she eventually got so many rishtas,and now she would be getting married within some months,while her elder sister is still unmarried.I know one other family,and same is the thing there.

If we put more thought into looking at "who" these pretty girls get married to instead of "when", that way we can reduce Life1 issues by 70%. Think about the bigger picture guys!

An extensive rishta search by my parents proved just that. Pretty girls indeed either get married early or are becoming extinct.

Mirch - no disrespect but thats a rather stupid generalization based on an assumption that you came up with just by chasing the chicks in your university.
I believe you are married? I am not, hence by the general principle you are more 'qualified' to pass such statements/judgments. However, people have different perceptions and expectations about marriage, and everybody has a different frame of mind and attitude towards getting and being married.
Based on your research, we can also conclude that the relatively uglier ones prosper in their education and careers - the prettier ones are busy breeding.
