President rubbishes appointments of CJ!

o bhai kaun si crisis? there is dispute over the appointment of ONE BLOODY JUDGE. and that is reason for the jaahil generals to take over?

we're so screwed... we're so screwed we don't even know how screwed we are...

Re: President rubbishes appointments of CJ!

^ 177 was translated by court its-self in Al-Jehad trust case that only SENIOR MOST judge should be appointed in SC

Re: President rubbishes appointments of CJ!

GEO saying that president is contemplating emergency in the country. Some people never learn.

177 also says that the president is bound by Chief justices recommendations and if he has to reject them he gives valid reasons. None given here. Furthermore he cannot appoint judges without consulting the chief justice.

So he is wrong.

I totally agree with you that Govt has failed, so Army or CJ should fire the failed govt? or let the people decide?

No not at all but given the fragile conditions in Pakistan and the reputation of the President himself, it is highly necessary for the govt to avoid any blunders to create further chaos in the country...

we are acutally at war, our army is busy at our western borders, and with all this, the procedure to appoint the justice of senior court has not been followed..

The govt is paralysing the whole country just to take NRO revenge from the judges. Country belongs to Pakistanis not to an individual or a party.

thats what I am saying BOTH Are wrong.

SJ should ONLY send summary of senior most judge to appoint (as per SC's ruling)

GOVT should accept he summary

is the way to go !

Thats where the govt is betting their life, they know country is no way in a position to go for elections, so they are upto the task to take back Pakistan in dark ages...

I hope he have balls to do so... as MQM, PML (N) ( Q) (all other alphabets), PTI will be on the roads...

yes, the fragile conditions created by the armywallas over years of mismanagement.

a lot of that "reputation" is based on half-truths, myths and outright lies. Zardari is no angel. but he hardly deserves the reputation he has been given by the army spin doctors.

is Zardari worse than Musharraf? is Zardari worse than Zia? is Zardari worse than Yahya the drunk?

the supreme court is also making things up as it goes. there are plenty of very reasonable and respected experts who sided with the govt on this. so, this is hardly a travesty of justice that the govt is guilty of.

The matter could have been solved amicably by the government, and a non issue has been made a crisis by the government...

Re: President rubbishes appointments of CJ!

The presidential spokesman is saying that the government is not contemplating emergency in the country...

Yesterday PM said to Oppostion leader Nisar Ch and Nawaz Sharif that govt will follow the advise of the CJ.... now whom should we believe, a non-issue has been made an issue, i guess it was just a reaction of zardari for the decision on NRO

Re: Gov, Judiciary & the dogs !

^ interesting !

Re: President rubbishes appointments of CJ!

thats true, nro issue and zardari tried to acquire kpt's land worth billions which supreme court averted...at least someone is looking at the corruption of our rulers and they dont like that, they want a free hand in looting the country...

Re: Gov, Judiciary & the dogs !

Both sides need to show some restraint. I hope it can be solved by negotiation, Zardari should seek Aitzaz'z help. He can be a good mediator, and safeguard interests of both sides.

not that i am in favor generals but the PPP is not really performing any better...

the spin doctors get all their stuff from the blunders made by zardari.. if he continues like he is, people of Pakistan will believe every word uttered against zardari... so actually it is HE the Zardari who is making his reputation worse from bad..

Given the circumstances, yes i think he is worse than the names yon have mentioned

like, issuing orders against NRO? like asking govt. to not to illeagally detain anyone, or taking action against their corruption???

Its easy to blame armywallas forever but what have we achieved so far in 2 years? Any improvement in people's lives other than some civilians (read jiyalas) getting jobs that retired-armywallas were grasping? Sugar, petrol, electricity, gas, security are nowhere to be found yet.

yeah there we go with the BUT. please stop making excuses and hiding behind words. if you support the army taking over, say so... don't hide behind words. this is the new fashion. oh jee I don't support the army taking BUT...

and it is this BUT that gives armywallas a decade to ruin the country...

blunders like changing the foreign policy of the country over a phone call? oh sorry that was Musharraf - an armywalla... and hence, the army spin doctors are going to give him a pass on that.

yeah, there is concrete proof that Zardari killed his own wife right? which is why this garbage was spread across the country? there is concrete proof that Zardari tied a bomb to a man's leg, right? bhai meray, Zardari might be corrupt but at the end of the day he's an insaan ka baccha. he isn't a retard. if he wanted to get money from a guy, there are far easier ways to get them instead of tying a bomb to a guy's leg and ordering him to go withdraw it from the bank.

it is this kind of half baked nonsense by the likes of brigadier Ranjha who believe that they're better than the bloody civilians that I'm referring to. you would also be able to spot it too if you weren't blinded by your hatred of the PPP.

OMG... how friggin old are you?

has Zardari broken the country? no that was Yahya. has Zardari embroiled the country in sectarian violence, encouraged religious extremism, allowed the drug and gun culture to flourish? no, that was actually Zia. has Zardari given us gifts like suicide bombings, the Pakistani Taliban, Fazlullah, Baitullah, Muslim Khan, etc? no, that was Musharraf.

yeah, Zardari is indeed worse than these dictator dogs.

I'm trying to restrain myself... though I feel like using much more colorful language 'cause you outright lie to make things fit your world view.

YOU DELICATE GENIUS, YOU DO REALIZE WHEN THESE ILLEGAL ABDUCTIONS STARTED RIGHT? AND YOU DO REALIZE THAT THEY'RE DONE ON THE BEHEST OF THE ARMYWALLAS UNDER MUSHARRAF, RIGHT? MOST OF THE PPL DISAPPEARED IN MUSHARRAF'S TIME.

this political govt has been trying to stop them. but obviously hasn't been able to. argh... I feel like pulling my hair out.
