SC bench has dismissed presidents notification...
why can't they just let the govt function? argh...
let them concentrate on destroying the militants. forget about these side games and tamaashas.
Re: President rubbishes appointments of CJ!
according to article 177 of the constitution the government was bound to consult with CJ SC for the nomination of judges, this consultation was not carried out hence the notification has been cancelled...

What function our government is carrying out by the way?
Re: President rubbishes appointments of CJ!
CJ has again given power in the hand of Kiyani. Whoever "boot waley" sides with, will win here...
from what i am hearing, their is interesting movement is going on in Rawalpindi. THEY are waiting for Bench decision !
The bench has suspended the order of president.. not only that, earlier, Justice Saqib and Justice Ijaz refused to accept the order as it was wrong in principle...
What function our government is carrying out by the way?
and that give the reason enough to Iffti to throw out the Govt? :)
and I thought that in "democracy" only PEOPLE can decide ...
so democracy is not he system for Pakistan and no wonder people welcome army every-time they step in :)
Re: President rubbishes appointments of CJ!
^^ Who told Zardari to take foolish decisions... it is Zardari who is inviting Kiyani for about 3rd time since PPP has taken power... now what are you saying that what ever govt says ( right or wrong) should be followed??? is that what you are referring ???
Re: President rubbishes appointments of CJ!
well there is some meeting going on in the presidency between the president and prime minister...lets see what they are up to...
What function our government is carrying out by the way?
are you one of the army fanboys who would rather see a FA-fail brigadier run a university than a bloody civilian?
well there is some meeting going on in the presidency between the president and prime minister...lets see what they are up to...
let see now what he do... but if he continues to make blunders i don't think that he can complete 5 years ( although a bad thing but how can you stop someone from committing suicide)
as far as experts are concerned, President is bound to consult with CJ for such appointments..
are you one of the army fanboys who would rather see a FA-fail brigadier run a university than a bloody civilian?
yes and we forced him to resign as well...
did you missed that part..

I dont support the army...this government has failed on all accounts...no relief what so ever for the masses...no foreign policy, mega scandals and what not...
besides this crisis has not been fanned by me or the army...the government is itself responsible for the crisis...

erm. so, if the govt messes something up, that is an invitation for Kiyani to take over? and why should the army take over anyway? why don't the policewalas take over? why doesn't the post office walas take over? why the bloody army?
no matter what the govt does, there is no justification for the army to take over. and in this case, give me a bloody break. there is a dispute over the appointment of a judge. and that's reason for the army to step in, in your opinion? no wonder we're so fked...
yes and we forced him to resign as well...
did you missed that part..
I didn't misse*d* that part.
he resigned and that's all good? why? he committed a crime. he should be behind bars. resigning is no punishment.
