many african american women have baby dadies. and its all good.
Everyone is saying adopt adopt adopt adopt.
1) I Thought adoption was not allowed in islam.
2) Read number one again
3) why didnt any of you adopt when you wanted a baby so badly?!!?!
Adoption is not allowed but sleeping around is? :S
Why? Its a natural desire and for some women gets stronger when they realise time is running out.
Time doesn't run-out! You can sponsor an orphan and take care of it..
Did she have the baby yet?? ;)
i can imagine a man or woman being in their 30-40 having the urge to have physical contant with someone(that is nature), which is very much easier than to find someone who u think is compatible for you at all fronts, so marriage material..
i read some saying that 'her parents didnt find her anyone' or 'she found a guy to sleep but not to marry'...
If u would turn on ur brain u will see that maybe she or her parents never came accross a PAKISTANI MUSLIM guy for her. something which is not unusual at all. At her age ofcourse she wants a fysical relation.
I still dont think u should sleep with anyone, but i can imagine that u want to if ur in a tempting situtation...
Having sex to have a baby is a different story, indeed very selfish.. better option is sperm bank.
PS we dont know what her exact story is: she might have had a relation and ended up being pregnant and decided to keep it. maybe she did have marriage plans, but as the topic opener said it didnt work out...
Re: Pregnant but not married
SOME ***** TOOK MY LIFE!! AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!
some of these replies really sadden me..its her life..its her business..i dont think anyone has the right to criticize her or judge her bcs no one is god..and if u were a perfect ,muslim urself u wouldnt do such a thing as lift fingers on anyone..
no muslim iv met in my entire life followed every single thing in the Quran..no one is perfect..the Quran says lots of other things too like what character traits we should have n i see people breaking those followings all the time..
ony AllAh subhanwatalah has the right to judge humans..no one else..he is the almighty..it is up to him to punish or forgive
i dont understand our community..we talk about islam..pray namaz..yet we find no problem in gossiping backbiting ostracizing someone..flinging their secrets out in the public..making life living hell..hurting people..when all of this is against islam..
no wonder the rest of the world thinks muslims r jahil..bcs they act like this
Re: Pregnant but not married
^ You have some valid points.
The way i see it stick to the basics... and stick anyone who dont.
Re: Pregnant but not married
wow liberal indeed.
Wanting a baby is no excuse to sleep around. IM sorry, i want money, is it ok to rob my neighbour. we all know our moral codes.
Re: Pregnant but not married
No matter how you wrap it in pretty paper, at the end of the day its adultery which is not good.
We, the human can present reasons for anything and any-sin we want.
Re: Pregnant but not married
Agreed :k:

true, but its human nature, we all know our standards, we are all mostly below a good islamic standard, sometimes i think we are all below a good human standard too....thing is, the reason i think alot of muslims talk, is because we have rules in our religion and when we see everyone inc ourselves breaking them, its a talking point.
ina gorey culutre, theres no such rules, so nothing is talking point.
plus i think we talk because at the moment its all new.slowly we see our people all heading towards the western culture, one day, sadly, it wont be a talking point anymore, itl be normal.
its odd, my cousin goes to these islamic lectures, and lots of gorey have converted, they left their western culture to be a muslim, the right way, and she said to me and my cousin, shes surprised people who are born muslim are so complancent, like they think if your born muslim its ok to do everything else.
its the same with rich people, people born rich dont appreciate money, people who earn it, do.

Re: Pregnant but not married
we find it shocking if a doctor is unethtical with patients, if a lawyer is commiting fraud, if a teacher is failing her pupils, we dont find it shocking if a muslim is commiting sins. instead we find reasons for it. yes, allah is the only one to judge, but if thats the case, why do we have a strict shariah law, why do we a have punishment system. if only god can judge and punish.
Support!!
Re: Pregnant but not married
WOW! I can't believe some of the posts here. Adultery is one of the biggest gunnahs in Islam. I don't see how someone can support that. Yes, we don't always follow islam to the fullest, but there are different level of gunahs..
Adultery being Gunah-e-kabeera. Theres never a good enough reason for that.
I understand that a person would want a physical relationship at that age, would want to start a family and all. but is that really a reason for adultery. NO! I will never support that, even if my own sibling is in that situation.
I'm sorry.
Re: Pregnant but not married
The OP didnt even say she was Muslim...
Re: Pregnant but not married
This is ZINA and we all know the worldly punishment for it is. And not to mention the punishment in the hereafter.
This is clearcut haraam.
Some surprising and disturbing replies.
What’s done is done. She made her bed (so to speak) and now she must lie in it. Rest, well that’s in the hands of the Almighty to punish or forgive her… if she repents. Who are we to judge? Man…get off your high horses you oh so perfect humans…lets just hope that she is able to support the child financially and emotionally.
Yeah… ![]()

Relax. I guess most of the replies are based on the fact that punishment for adultery is clearly defined in Quran.
Here is an everyday example, If your exam paper instructions says that you you MUST complete question #5 else you will be fail and your friend tells you "I did question 1,2,3 only, will I pass?" what will be your answer?
Re: Pregnant but not married
I guess once prophet tried to avoid punishing a woman because she was still feeding the baby.
