I guess once prophet tried to avoid punishing a woman because she was still feeding the baby.
what is that about?

Re: Pregnant but not married
No it was Hazrat Ali who asked Hazrat Umar to repeal his verdict till the child was of age… but the verdict was re-drawn she was still punished later.
Allah knows best but we all know the punishment for adultery. ![]()
Re: Pregnant but not married
Dude I hate to be that guy.
But islam is just a social system, off course approved by God.
But what if it fails to provide what it promises??
Should women live their lives without being a mother ??
Its not fair...
Re: Pregnant but not married
Look theres no excuse for adultery.
If the woman desired to be a mother then she should have found a husband.
Thats not a valid excuse... it's like a man satisfying his desires unlawfully.
Niether is acceptable.
Re: Pregnant but not married
having children is a bit contradictory
u want things for them
but they should dream for what they want
and its just a mess..
Interesting Topic.
Nutwer agrees with TLK Bhais and most other posts. However I would not shun the women, as being at that age and having waited so long, with the natural urges for a partner, anybody can fall into this.
Plus- we do not know the full information about the girl - and it really is her life and her business- if shes not making it purposly public.
We all make mistakes, and if we do not know the facts, Islam says to make 72 excuses for your brother.
If she did it with just for the intention of a baby, I belive that is selfish and immature, and it would be detrimental to her and baby in future.
If she got into a relatinship or better with the intention of possible marriage I do not blame her-how long could one survive alone..
On the contrary if a Man of age 38 or 48, had got into the same situation-I doubt he would have a tenth of the these fingers pointing at him.
So Guys- Why be double standarded- is the women picked on/looked down because she is weaker?
The bottom line is people: ITS HER BUSINESS.
EVERYBODY HAS THIER BUSINESS'S.
She dont deserve any punishment- because if she does then all of us also do too for something or another.
And It does not look like shes is habitual sinner
For the people condeming her to adultery and punishments. Do know this Islam has room for forgiveness for the greatest of sins.
We should make an excuse for her.
And who knows how the baby ws derived through Nikah, through promised Nikah, rape or so.
ALSO; for the aalim onlines;
Nabi Pak also stated 'You should obey the law of the country you are in'.
Also for the smartasses; I did not want to bring this up but to support my comment of excuse; there have been occasions when people came to the prophet (pbuh) and confessed they had been with a women besides their wife-the Prophet at times made excuses for them to be excused.
Therefore even adultery can be forgiven. If Allah has concealed your sin- you should also conceal it.
Regarding the lady having the baby well it certainly is not good if it was intentional.
But looking again at her situation and age, one has to understand her perspective and be more lenient in than a younger aged persons scenario.
BOTTOM LINE:
It is very common for women in around the world- especially pakistan- to reach late 30's or so without marriage.
One also has to recall there are more women than men in the world.
How long can one expect somone to stick out for.
Women also have desires.
Personally- no man sticks out that long without doing the ahem ahem and if a women has succumbed to the same instinct why make ita great deal.
Its not relgiously and I suppose morally then ideal for her to go on with the pregnancy.
But we do not know her situation-maybe she was promised nikah or marriage by her bf-and her left her too late after he baby was abortable.
This is not such as big a mistake and condemable fi she had planned evrything purposly-
So guys just leave her BUSINESS.
ther are guys who come here fantazizing about multiple wives..what about them
Re: Pregnant but not married
I personally think she is innocent,
Currently there are thousands of girls who passed the age of Shadi and the simple reason for that is there are more girls in the world then boys ,
Either we become GORA and let or sisters and daughter sleep around to satisfy there needs or we do it the Islamic way.
I see my thread has been resurrected. Yes, the lady in queston has had the baby and as far as I know, is living with her mum. but I think I must have mentioned, I don't know her personally, she is just someone in my community, so I don't know how she's getting on, whether she is happy or regrets it etc.
Watch this clip and you will find out.
We still dont know the story guys ;)
anyway everyone around here is talking about sin this sin that... the only defference between this woman and any other man or woman is that she actually got pregnant. For the others no1 will ever know if they slept around or not ;)
hmmmmmmmm interesting how people are judgmental of this woman and most people arent if a girl/guy has had sexual relation before marriage.. (i read other threads)
only coz they didnt end up havign babies its totally differnt.. thats just plain wrong!
point: dont think we allways act according to islam... this topic is more abt ethic than religion
