This is why there should be compulsary sex education for kids. I don't know why parents are so opposed to that. THis is what happens when you don't tell your kids about the dangers of sex.

oops .. well it’s against Islam to talk about sex with kids.. you know … People are blowing themselves for having pictures in textbooks..

some schools in Lahore/karachi started to give sex education to kids but.. pyscho’s starting to gave them threats .. so it’s gone in the dust of against religious stuff !

Kids are being bombarded with sexually explicit material specially from tv and internet.
As for sex education, its nothing more than wear condom before you do it. It has never been shown that this will lessen the likelihood of engaging in sex, rather it does the opposite.

There is nothing to smack about dude. Only few generations ago, men’s life expectancy was not even 40. Women might be slightly higher than that. We should be thankful to our previous generations that they decided to get married earlier or none of us would be here to smack our own heads.

There is already sex education in this country but it's not of the right kind.
Instead of teaching abstinence and chastity, it glorifies sex..
When we were at school (year 8/13 yrs old) we were shown how to masturbate and have sex through videos (proper actors not animation).
Sex is a human need like food and water and because kids are maturing earlier they are ready for it and want it earlier...
I felt the horniest when I started puberty, if I wasn't scared of Allah no amount of lectures would have held me back...
I think the only thing that works is the religion/guilt card, if you're not taught fornication is bad then you're gonna do it when you;re horny regardless of what anyone says.
That's why if I have kids I'm marrying them off as soon as they reach puberty, they can have halal dating, no gf/bf's for them. :D
When I was at school some of the girls/boys were doing it at 13-14, now girls are reachin puberty at 9... we didn't reach punerty that early..

Yes, but the only difference was that they were married at a very young age. Back in the day, people used to get married quite early and if someone got pregnant out of wedlock, they would quickly marry the guy who knocked her up. Nowadays, people don't rush into marriage.
Also the media today isn't how it was back then. Who would find out how many teens used to get pregnant 50 years ago?
NOw every tiny bit of news comes online and is just a click away. Who took statistics that many years ago about teenage pregnancies and how many people even annoucned it? People used to HIDE these things. Sex out of wedlock isn't something new and neither is teenage sex. It's just that now everything is visible, before it was all hidden.

And teenage pregancy is very common in Pakistan by the way. Girls here on average get married fairly early, usually soon after puberty. Most of you seem to be living in major cities but the majority of Pakistanis reside in rural areas (70% of the entire population) and that's how its done there. I've come across many 12 year-old mothers in my hospital.

To the people saying sex education in Uk is compulsory... I can honestly say the sex education we had was nothing. And at the age of 10? Brave girl if shes gonna have it. However... Kids these days i dont know if you've noticed are very very mature as in they have grown up really fast. They wanna do things that 18+ do.. They dont *want *to enjoy being a child. I can honestly say at 10 years old i was very much a baby myself.

OMG I feel so shocked after reading that. My baby sis is 10 years old and I jus can't even imagine a girl her age being pregnant. It's disgusting.

Age is just a number, every individual is different.
Some people are still pre-pubescents/children at 14 others reach puberty as early as 9.
I started having intense sexual feelings as soon as I reached puberty, I know parents don't want to acknowledge that because they like to live in the bubble that their children are innocent little angels till 18/21 but it doesn't work like that in the real world, reality is very different from how we want it to be in our perfect lil utopias.
Kids are maturing faster and faster.
If I have kids I'm going to have their nikaahs performed as soon as they've reached puberty with partners their own age, I'd tell them to use contraception so they don't get pregnant before completeing their studies and incase the marriages don't work in the long term.
In our sex-saturated society where it is not consdiered wrong or shameful to fornicate, just telling kids "don't do it because don't do it" is not gonna hold much weight to them.

Not traditional Paki style shaadis, just nikaahs.
Most kids start having bf's/gf's when they reach puberty, at least they did in my school at 13/14 yrs old...
My kids will get non-vulgar/non-crude sex education when they reach puberty and then I'll tell them we don't have one-night-stands or no-strings-fun in our religion but if you want to have sex then you can have an arranged/assisted nikaah with someone... Both partners can carry on lving with their respective parents and use contraception untill they both graduate, just like a bf/gf relationship but halal, halal-dating, a nikaah only takes 5 mins...
Kids are going to have sex no matter what, better we acknowledge it and make sure it's with someone we know and within the boundaries of our faith than deny our childrens feelings simply because it makes us cringe.
The other alternative is fornication, even worse older sugar daddies and druggies start luring sexually frustrated young'ns to use and abuse them under the guise of love... This is a big problem in this country and most the culprits atleast according to the media are Paki druggies but I know that Sikh and Black gangsters are doing just the same...
...Most the victims are young white girls because their parents are the most liberal and give them the most freedom whereas Paki/Sikh children have an earlier curfew, especially girls.
When I was at school in year 9 a girl in my class would meet an older married man at break time to do it in the park and she was only 13-14 at the time, she would boast about it to class, (I just remembered her after years I'm going to go search for her on facebook) she use to say he loved her but he was just a womaniser and prolly did the same to other girls...
That's the kind of thing we need to protect our kids from, that's why it's neccesary to understand our children and their needs more...
Abstinence with religious reasoning also works but in our sex saturated society it's not always enough..
