please i need dua for delivery. this is my 3rd pregnancy and i am very scared about delivery as my first two were bad experiences , especially 2nd one , but i was lucky to survive. So i really need dua to get through this time.
Pyari everything went well this time around as well. The doctor told me that I was meant to have babies! The delivery was smooth just like the first one but this 2nd one was not shorter compared to the first one. Labor was just as long as with my first child. But it wasn't bad. Minaal seems like an easy baby too.
Congratulations Neera....did everything go safe? Share exciting experiences when u get time....
Mehnaz: I gained a lot of weight too...i guess somethings u can control and others u can't. During my 4th month I gained 10 pounds....I know that is crazy...I stopped vomiting and started gaining so much. Now it is kind of under control mashallah.
Sadzz and wanabe: It was just something that came to my mind since I have to go to the bathroom a lot now...sadz ur lucky u don't really have to go...wanabe I was thinking the samething just use the huge wheelchair stalls...
hi guys, wonder if u can help me. i am 12 days late for my period, i am tryin to conceive, i hav taken two pregnancy test, one clearblue and the other one first response. both negative, gave my urine sampl to doc, result will b here friday. inshala. jus wanted to ask u guys, when and what day of ur missed period u foind out u weerre pregg? i am havin all sorts of craving mans, after liek two hours i crave for food, sweet and crunchy food, and on top of that i am havin cramps like period but sumtimes they are sharp in my lower stomach area. u think this is pregnancy or am i jus assuming it?/??
nazia, a late period doesnt always mean you are pregnant. If you are getting negative hpt, you are either very early in your pregnancy or not pregnant. Your body could just be messed up because of stress etc.
I was just reading through the old posts. I saw earlier comment on how I gained 3-4 pounds during the first trimester. Second trimester, good God, I put on so much more. Anyway, I’m not even going to stress about it anymore. I walk, eat properly, don’t eat out or junk food, lay off the sweets … so inshallah it will all come off. fingers crossed
Anyway, I’m having sciatic nerve pains. The gyne said the baby is pushing something inside which is pushing the nerve - hence, the pain in my left butt cheek, down into my left leg. It is sooooo painful. She said this is the second most common thing that happens to women during pregnancy.
If anybody has these types of pains, try sleeping with a pillow, folded, between your knees. It doesn’t help that I have to sleep on my left side all the time either. Oh well.
I love my baby. I can’t wait for him/her to be here and so that I can cuddle it and snuggle it.
I feel so proud, as a parent, each time it kicks. I told my mom and she was laughing at me.
Also, I’ve been putting vaseline on my stomach, morning and night. In my second trimester, cocoa butter, and other creams, started causing my skin to react. Vaseline seems to be working.
So mehnaz, i remember you asking about cramping in the first tri. How long did it last for you and what kind of cramping was it? like menstrual cramps? Right in the middle of the uterus area or either side etc? Anyone else can pitch in with their experience too since i am sure its different for different people.
I had it pretty much the whole first trimester, as well as back pains. I don't remember where exactly it was .... it was just uncomfortable and even painful at times.
Sciatic nerve pain is awful, I even tried a massage but the lady said she cant really do a real massage coz she doesnt want to harm the baby. Like Mehnaz said try the pillow between your legs and sleep on the side the pain is on, for me it is the right side...even now after delivery.
Just a point to share with all you pregos, if for any reason you think you are leaking urine or fluid go directly to the L&D at your hospital. Dont let your OB or Doc tell you its incontinence and brush it off. I ended up in hospital with an infection and high fever, went into preterm labour and had a preemie on June 12th at just 26wks, MashaAllah she's doing well.
Just needed to share this so that women are informed and dont brush things off coz the doc said so, go and have it checked at the hospital especially if you are past 23wks.
Another question for the ladies: When did your real preg symptoms start if they ever did? Was any one of you lucky enough to go through the first tri without any nausea, headaches, extra fatigue, extra bathroom trips at night etc? Does the lack of symptoms mean something is wrong, may Allah forbid?

well every preg is different, with my 1st symptoms started after when my periods were missed, whith 2nd it started before even i miss my period, with 3rd almost 2 weeks after i miss my periods. and i am not lucky to have a normal first trimester. with first 2 it was soooooo difficult , i was like who asked me to get pregnant and i thought if it continues like this through whole pregnancy, i will definately die before it even edns. can u imagine nusea, apetite in miuns(almost no food at all), 24 hrs headache , even my eyesight affected, i was not able to watch tv or read anything , i could not bear loud sounds , could not stand food smell or any other. thank GOD it all passed.
and inspite of all this i again dare to get pregnant 2nd and then 3rd time:CareBear:
bcs u know at the end when u r blessed with healthy baby u forget everything.

hey ira.. ya.. a close friend of mine was nearly a month and half into her pregnancy and she didnt know at all.. no nausea.. her periods were always off so a missed period was definately not a sign of pregnancy... she's a healthy and happy pregnant woman, now in her 5th month.. and still no sign of any kind of body ache or pain.. the only thing is , her feet have started to swell up a bit... thats about it :D
