Sindh can not be divided. Pakistan was imposed upon them. Sindh has been an independent country many times in history. The new sindhies (mainly urdu speaking) should accept this fact even if other provinces are spitted into organizational units.
Not been on here for some time but I still see same Crying! Punjab heavily voted PPP in 1988,93,2002,2008. PMLN has majority now but if you read Jolie's comments it seems that past elections never happened. Damned if you and Damned if you dont really! Instead of trying to color PMLN something they are not perhaps better cry about opportunities Punjab gave to PPP and what they did with it, remember Lahore was Bhutto Qila. Some times its ok to accept that you FAILEd and people have moved on. PMLN actually has pretty solid footing from Mansehra to Rahim Yar Khan, always win 3-4 from Balochistan and did compete very well in Sindh areas bordering Punjab. In next elections they will route F League to get 6/8 from Sindh as well. However, the real regional parties like PTI, ANP, PPP will lose grounds in their respective states.
then why do you think that Punjab centric electoral system is evil? because you cannot win there?
Provincial autonomy is all you need if you are not hungry of power which is supposed be related to foreign affairs and defence. SS has been visiting turkey and china even when PPP was in federal govt is example that there is no bar from federation to contact outside the country.
Punjab electoral system is evil because a party can win all three provinces but still won't have a chance at forming government at centre, but a party that doesn't set a foot outside Punjab will easily form a "majority" government.
I cannot believe that you massively struggling to understand this basic democratic deficit, and find absolutely nothing wrong with it.
Simple question: do you or do you not support electoral rigging, especially against JI when there's a clear indication they won't win the seat anyway? Should there be rigging against JI considering they don't stand a chance of winning anything?
Just because PTI can't win from Punjab, it doesn't make it okay for any one party, or any one province to have unopposed hegemony at Federal resources!
So can you just talk about fundamental issues instead of dumbing the debate by giving how so and so change won't benefit PTI, so no point highlighting and condemning the structural defects

Rigging is wrong and judiciary is there for it. Splitting punjab wont resolve this problem automatically.

Of course rigging is wrong, I doubt anyone who here would dare say it is right even if they're indifferent to it or think otherwise.
But should rigging be trivalised and ignored and mocked just because the other party was not in a strong position to win? So why should Punjab centric system not be condemned and highlighted just because any changes to that will not benefit PTI?
It's like telling a rape victim.....errrr I know rape is bad, but you didn't have a dupatta on your head plus you are woman, so either way, you were going to get raped anyway, so let's just ignore the actual heinous crime which is rape and focus on how you were supposed to be raped anyway.
Sorry to give a crude example but I think that's probably the only way to get Pakistanis understand the fundamental values of the Western system they love to abuse.
Pakistan is an artificial country - Sindh is a historical country.
It is not true , Pakistan is a natural country having an history of more than 10,000 years known as Indus valley .
Pakistan is Sindh & Sindh is Pakistan , Only the requirement is justice with people of Pakistan , This is not age of Empires so forget Mahmood Ghaznavi & Muhammad Bin Qasim and learn to live with democracy . Only way to live united .

You float the term of punjab centric system and condemn it yourself. So what you saying is rigging is fine as long as it is being done in smaller province as it does not bar you from getting federation. Like if i could win in punjab and get federation i dont care if rigging is being done in smaller provinces. Or rigging happens only in larger province.
In earlier posts you have been saying people of punjab are xenophobic(racists ) and obsessed with biradri system but now you say concern is rigging.

something ironic to share...
i do recall that in 2013 elections some posters were pointing out inefficiencies of Pakistani electoral system and its reliance on bradari/caste/wadera system in rural areas across all 4 provinces and some PTI fans used to yell at us calling us names and telling us how dare we insult villagers of pakistan as they constitute the grass root level politics of pakistan and do possess enough political wisdom to make the right decision and that so-called intellectuals are the worst part of pakistan who are spreading disappointment.......
well, at that point PTI was very confident they will have a landslide in 2013 elections thinking Hazrat Imran Khan message has penetrated everywhere..
but alas that didnt happen and 3-yrs fast forward, now PTI fans are getting more and more frustrated and dont see victory anytime soon,so now they have started to badmouth the very same urban voters of pakistan especially the ones in punjab calling them jahil, undemocratic, xenophobic . Actually now PTI fans are badmouthing many more things in pakistan!! suddenly this country has become inhabitable..................
Why is there an assumption that splitting Punjab (something I'd support) will change who people vote for?
People of South Punjab, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, etc used to overwhelmingly vote for PPP. In return, loot maar was the only thing they ever received from the party.
The reason why PMLN received support in those areas is because of gross incompetence and mismanagement by the alternative (PPP and ex-PPP people in PTI). PMLN is bad for these areas but PPP was much worse.
PTI might face similar fate in KPK for concentrating on protest politics in Punjab and neglecting KPK in the process.
PPP is just trying to appeal to its vote base in Sindh by exploiting race card which they have successfully done in the past while the people in Sindh suffer because of lack of viable alternative.

And you support that Looting is the sole right of Thugs of Takht e Lahore & their life partner Punjabi Establishment .

Rigging in Punjab affects whole of Pakistan, it has greater impact hence gets more attention and rightly so.

I think you are struggling to understand the point and I will now try to write in very basic and plain English.
I brought the rigging issue to highlight the similarity in lameness and intellectual dishonesty of the rhetoric PMLN members usually churn who thought there was no point condemning rigging or calling for free and fair investigation because PTI would not have won anyway, so its okay if there was rigging. They became shameless apologists for rigging while championing democracy (only in Pakistan!)
Similarly, you too are acting like an apologist for a discriminatory and anti democratic Punjab centric system because any changes to that won't benefit PTI anyway.
Don't insult your intelligence like some PMLN members here do, these structural issues and democratic deficit Pakistani system are not PTI issues. You lost half of your country due to this pathetic system!
Also, reforms do not produce immediate changes, so don't bother with oh splitting of Punjab not going to make PTI win. Yes it's not rocket science, it will probably take minimum of five years for political dynamics to drastically change in new units, but that's still not a good enough excuse to dumb down the debate and trivialise the need top have more fairer and democratic electoral system.

So you didnt say people of punjab are racist and deciding fate of whole pakistan because electoral system is Punjab centric? Or you didnt say Punjab centric electoral system is evil because PMLn rig punjab and rule pakistan. What is actually problem, rigging or punjabies being racists?
There is no sense in calling it anti democratic because there is no absolute measure as to what extent we should divide provinces further. After Punjab Sindh will be bashed for being larger province. So the actual solution is provincial autonomy but maybe it does not suit to PTI as they want federation only.

On this forum, on numerous occasions, I have given huge credit to Punjab for rising above ethnicity and supporting/voting popular leaders. So don't go there!
But does it still make it okay for villages of Punjab to decide the fate of whole of Pakistan? No! Even if you want to be politically correct and optimistic and say that not all villagers are jahil and biraadrii obsessed etc etc, it still doesn't cancel out the fact these factors are still a reality. Though Punjab on macro level still possess the potential to cause political upsets, something you can's say about Sindh or Karachi.

only a few week ago, Jolie was arguing with TLK that every other type of issue can be found in punjab but there is no racism there. But all sudden people of punjab have become racist.
