I know the PC answer is that we shouldn’t be so picky, food is a gift, etc, and it is..but fact remains that there are picky eaters out there.. so whos’a picky eater :snooty:

Re: …Picky Eaters…

YOU EDITED IT :smilestar:

coming back to the topic Yes I am a VERY picky eater. I would rather stay hungry if there’s nothing for me to eat that I like but I would not eat just for the heck of stuffing something into my stomach.

Re: …Picky Eaters…

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery

I eat based on mood, smetimes i’m in mood for desi, chinese, american…i like very few desi dishes, i eat out wayy too often :frowning:

Re: …Picky Eaters…

I am a very picky eater. I never say anything when I’m a guest at someone’s house but at home I am extremely picky and everyone knows it. :roman:

I don’t eat goat under ANY circumstances. I will very rarely eat beef (like two or three times a year). I don’t like stuff that’s too cheesy or too sour or chocolatey. I absolutely LOVE salad. I don’t like palak but I love eating saag. I don’t like soft-boiled eggs. I drink organic milk and eat organic eggs. I eat whole grain bread (buttermilk wonderbread is nastayyyy). I don’t like slices of tomatoes in sandwiches.

There’s just so many preferences. Sometimes I have a hard time keeping up with them myself. :hayaa:

I’m sort of a health freak. _

Re: …Picky Eaters…

^ Being health freak is good, ppl don’t already take care of diets (including meself).. :frowning:

So whats the difference between palaak and saag? :konfused:

Re: ....Picky Eaters....

saag tastes better :]

no wait..paalak is urdu-speaking and saag is punjabi :D

Re: …Picky Eaters…

^ no abcd paindoo :smilestar:

Palak = Spinach
Saag = Mixture of gandal (the trunk of Mustard), palak, and methi

Re: ....Picky Eaters....

I am a PICKY eater too....I would rather eat the simple stuff rather then the oh so chef prepared/ gourmet one:D...sehat ka razz too!!!!!!!!!

Re: …Picky Eaters…

hmm wow i never knew the difference..

Re: ....Picky Eaters....

Well i was very fussy until i got married. Hubs isnt fussy at all and being with him made me keep an open mind abt food. However certain things im a bit funny abt. Like i cant stand cooked spinich yet i'll have it raw in a salad. Or porridge oats i'll have cold but cant stand having it all hot.

Re: …Picky Eaters…

i think saag tastes better:blush:.cant satnd palak:(

Re: …Picky Eaters…

you guys..
I just spent like 3 hours straight laboring in our kitchen…I made Balti Butter Chicken and I just tried some..it turned out ZABARDAST.

And guess whatttt :halo:. I took pictures! :phati: I’ll post them soon.

Re: ....Picky Eaters....

i don't like many things like eggs for breakfast.
but i eat everything that my mother makes for me , without any complaint .
there's a hadith . which means if you don't like any eatable , leave it but do not complain

Re: …Picky Eaters…

What he said

Re: …Picky Eaters…

So like every1 says eating breakfast is good for you and all that..but wat if u just can’t eat anything so early in the morning :bummer: blegh..

Re: …Picky Eaters…

^ Dude same here. I used to hate eating breakfast so early in the morning cuz my stomach would feel all wierd all day then. But now my mom like makes me and I realized it’s so much easier to just shutup and eat the freakin bowl of cereal in the morning. :phati:

Plus your metabolism is higher in the mornings than it is at night which is why it’s good to eat a big breakfast and a small dinner. (Although us desis do much the opposite lol)

Re: …Picky Eaters…

So why do you have to take breakfast at 4:30 AM - may I ask
