Re: Pashto/pakhtu for beginners...

A very good Website Almas. I hope you will also create lessons for Urdu speaking people learning Pushto. It is lot easier to read and learn Pushto in Urdu-to-Pashto with correct pronounciation compare to English-pashto.

Does any know what this phrase means "muzi na uzka" my mum used to say it when we were naughty, i dont even know if it is pukhtu.

khudi pa amman

Re: Pashto/pakhtu for beginners...

^ it certainly doesn't sound like any pashto that I know of, unless you've misheard what was said.

She used this phrase a lot coz we were naughty all the time, i know that "muzi" means devil but i have no idea what "na uzka" means or what language it is.

She often used puktu phrases but never really explained them to us.

Re: Pashto/pakhtu for beginners...

How do you say ' Mother, father, sister, brother, friend' in pukhtu? =)
