Some people think they are better than others because they were privilaged enough to get an oppertunity to get a proper education. Now you’d think that educated people would know better but unfortunately these parhe likhe jahils think of others as lesser beings and discriminate. I for one think that education should give you a sound mind and you should be humble about what you have accomplished in your life. what do you guys think.

Yeaa...having an education does not mean that you walk over ppl...or that you know better than others, or ur superior than others....u should be thankful that your parents ave you an education and use it wisely.
bauhauhauauauah gud one mp, ali ur the one who thinks ur more smart than the others :b anywho, im my opinion its all on how you are brought up, thats when upbringing kicks in rather than grade school education.
Lil ash - I think you mean "smarter" instead of "more smart" ;) I think you are supposed to start a sentence with a capital letter. Please correct the grammar. Thanks :). No hard feelings, just looking out for you Ashy.

tum bilkol sehi karai ho yaar..i think iv also been guilty of this sometime
Parhe likhay jahils are rampant in our society…examples of them:
People who ask for Jahez - the worst kind in my opinion because they literally demand reimbursement for raising their daaaaaaaaaaaaktar sons…
I know a lot of people still believe in this archaic custom but I also consider the caste system extremely Jahil…in fact its jihalat exemplified. Being a Sheikh or Syed will NOT make anyone more or less compatible.
People who look down on others because they went to such and such school. That is snobby and also jahil because its not what education teaches you at all…education (the right kind of course) should teach you equality and respect for all human beings…not just the ones you went to school with. Otherwise, you look like a waste of money.
MK do not critisize my display pic its for lilash and blacko ... they like being called stooopid :p ... and yeah I noticed it a lot even on GS that one type of people think that just because they are doing xyz they are better than someone else ... or have a moral high ground .... i mean wat is up with that
I have seen this snobby type of "educated" person that you've described but really not very often at all. More commonly, I see under-educated people get really obnoxious over how smart they are and how much they know. WHenever anyone shoves something in your face and shouts from the rooftops, they deserve pity more than anything else because its a gaping character flaw. The thing is, in either one of these extremes. people see right through it and laugh at them behind their backs. And they dont even suspect. Sad.
‘Parhe likhay’ or even uneducated ‘jahil’ are both unbearable…its best to avoid them or stay quiet coz they won’t be quiet no matter what…so ignore
Also I have noticed that they pretend not to pay attention to/agree with whatever I am saying…& at other occasions I have heard them repeating my exact same words to others…ugghhhh
You know a great example of this? The parha likha guy who discourages other girls from education, from careers, citing what better mom the SAHM make compared to career women. This discourages girls and you men know damn well it does, from getting educations and becoming a participant of the sociopolitical process as oppose to innocent bystanders of it's violent and corrupt ways.

:)
I don't quite agree with the notion. The parha likha guy or a grl who discourages someone, regardless of gender, from education or career is a parha likha jahil in my opinion. I for one thinks that everyone should get proper education and after that its their choice whether they want to be SAHM or they want to go and work because i think after that much education a person can make those decisions themselves.
I don't think that parhe likhe men discourage girls from participating in sociopolitical process in anyway. Most of the time its men who are encouraging their wives to get more education or go out and work or atleast that is what i have seen in my circle of friends/family.
