Wonderful - most amazing.

Mujhay aarzoo thee jis ki, wo payam aa gaya hai

I was in Murree for two days…(14 & 15 Jan-X)
and here’s how I capitalized on my stay there;

THE OUTDOOR LOCATION TO SOME 300 PAKISTANI MOVIES
IN MURREE…

THE CECIL HOTEL-MURREE OF 1940

and after watchiung this clip…which I made,
watch
this
clip
and
see
**that not much has changed past 46 years! **
ARMAAN film song at CECIL HOTEL

***WHAT A GREAT SITE AND GOLDEN MEMORIES.

PAKISTAN , MASHALLAH ,HAS EVERY THING TO BE AS GREAT COUNTRY .

I WISH WE COULD TURN THE CLOCK BACK AND HAVE THAT TEAM AGAIN MAKING WONDERFULLY BEAUTIFUL MOVIES WITH MINIMUM RESOURCES.

GRACEFUL, CLEAN FAMILY ORIENTED ENTERTAINMENT IS STILL POSSIBLE.

THANKS FOR TAKING THE TROUBLE OF MAKING THE VIDEO AND UPLOADING IT

When I did recording with Nadeem Beg yesterday—(28 Jan-X)

during the interval I downloaded this song—and we saw the clip together! I could see in his eyes—his wonder years flashing by–

MEETING SHAGUFTA AT HUMAYUN’s WAS GREAT!

Re: Pakistan's film industry is in collapse!

^A co-production with Mahesh Bhatt? Seriously, is that really the right way of improving our movies? Bhatt's recent film Jashn was a major flop in India. Humayun Saeed is having a mid-life crisis, first his silly dance show 'Nach Le' and now this.

*A FEW ACTORS LIKE HUMMAYUN SAEED & FAISAL QURESHI, SHOULD TAKE BREAK FROM SCREEN FOR FEW YEARS AS WE ARE NOW GETTING SICK OF SEEING THEM IN EVERY SERIAL , MORNING SHOWS, DANCE SHOWS AND SO CALLED TALENT SHOWS. IT ALMOST LOOKS LIKE THEY OWN THESE CHANNELS. *

**COME ON HUMMAYUN -- NOT MOVIES, YOU ARE NOT THAT KIND.

PLEASE STOP COPYING INDIAN SHOWS. COME UP WITH ORIGINAL IDEAS.

SOME PEOPLE TRY TO BE A CELEBRITY WHEN THEY ARE NOT. I WONDER IF THEY PAY TV CHANNELS TO BE ON TV.

Re: Pakistan's film industry is in collapse!

RISHTA HAI PYAR KA

ANY ONE HAS THIS MOVIE

Producer Ghaffar Danawalla's son-----Nasir Danawalla laments not having any record of the movie on video. I have suggested that he must have some clips of the songs picturized in Beirut and Paris...specially the song;
"MASOOM SA CHEHRA HAI...HUM JISKE HEIN DIWANAY" picturized at Holiday Inn-Beirut on Waheed Murad and Zeba (acting as PIA Air Hostess).

RHPK can be termed as the FIRST ever Pakistani Movie to be shot overseas on location in Beirut, Paris and London....with overseas shoot scenes in color!

I saw this movie at Khayyam Cinema-Karachi (1968)

Re: Pakistan's film industry is in collapse!

PTV SHOULD HAVE A PRINT OF RISHTA HAI PYAR KA - AS THEY SHOWED THIS MOVIE ONE SUNDAY AFTERNOON BACK IN 1974 OR 1975

PTV has not maintained--even the programs of 1990 and forward! and friend, you talk of archives from 70's :)
**
BTW---the films shown on PTV are taken on rent from the distributors/owners and returned back.
**
Nasir Danawalla is traveling---and I'll revert when he is back because I am myself more interested to know about RHPK.

I called Zeba....and she faintly remembers that this movie was shown by PTV but she say's that it was more like a docu-drama then movie.

Re: Pakistan's film industry is in collapse!

SO SAD - SUCH A GREAT MOVIE, A MILE STONE , IN THE HISTORY OF PAKISTAN FILM INDUSTRY -- ***LOST

WAHEED AND ZEBA , IN MY OPINION, WAS THE BEST LEAD PAIR OUR INDUSTRY EVER PRODUCED.

BESIDES ARMAAAN , RHPK, EHSAAN AND KANEEZ, IT WOULD BE INTERESTING TO THAT HOW MANY MORE MOVIES THEY MADE TOGATHER.

Waheed Murad & Zeba---paired as lead in more than 50 movies while they were in team of other big names like Muhammad Ali and Nadeem...in more than 20 movies.

Their best----on ratings was ARMAAN !

***THE GREAT TEAM INDEEED -- WAHEED MURAD, PERVAIZ MALIK, SOHAIL RANA AND MASROOR ANWER, I WOULD ALSO ADD RUSHDI IN THIS TEAM TOO.

WAHEED, MSROOR AND RUSHDI ARE NOT WITH US ANY MORE. SOHAIL RANA IMMIGRATED TO CANADA. WHERE IS PERVAIZ MALIK

He too left us for heavenly abode...two years back :(

:rotfl:

Re: Pakistan's film industry is in collapse!

faisal qureshi is fake....I'm not impressed by his acting at all. Humayun is good at what he does(same kind of roles) but his range is limited.
tv industry mein grouping and dhare baazi bohat hai. no wonder talented people like rahat and shaira azmi have left this 'showybiz' industry LOL

I agree with the above except that ITs Sahira Kazmi not Shaira Azmi!

Re: Pakistan's film industry is in collapse!

Reminded of Rahit kazmi,Sahira Kazmi,Marina khan,Shehnaz shaikh & so on.Why such enormous talent in pakistan has so little shelf life.Shehnaz did only 2serials.What a waste.Rahit had a style like amitabh bachan.Amitabh is going strong & rohit is not heard anymore.
