^ wow thats nice...it will be good see her again.
Feryal’s character sounds funny, guessing there will be a comedy element to it all.
Below is a profile of both the director (Steven Moore) and producer (Sarah Tareen) of the film called ‘Tamanna’

What I found most interesting about recent film projects is how much Shoaib Mansoor is involved in terms of each and every new talent coming to the forefront. He had numerous trainee directors observing and assisting him during the making of Khuda Key Liye. Sarah Tareen, Bilal Lashari and Adeel Hashmi were just some of the ‘students’. This way a whole set of film-makers have had hands-on experience during the workshops in order to make their own films. Shoaib Mansoor is truly a genius in my eyes.
I totally agree, he definitely has the eye for the right talent. Or let’s just say, we’re so bubbling with talent and he’s able to channel all those creative juices the right way by providing solid mentoring.
wow… cool. Faryaal is such a brilliant actress apart from being a gorgeous, gorgeous lady.
this film sounds like it’s gonna be one hell of a treat. looking forward to it.
btw, thanks for sharing the article.
Re: Pakistan's film industry is in collapse!
Apologies for bringing this thread alive.
What was the conclusion?
People don't want to see 'gujjar' style movies... why do we still make them?
Why don't people in Pakistan make low budget movies on the style of movies from Iran. I am sure we have writers who can write powerful scripts?
What competitive advantage the current Lollywood people have over those who want to make sensible movies?
Re: Pakistan's film industry is in collapse!
^ Good question. Firstly we must all refrain from calling it an *industry *- 2 films a year doesn't qualify it as as such. Secondly I do feel there is a glimmer of hope from a few brave filmmakers who are still making an effort and investing in such an unpredictable environment - but this is not enough.
