The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced a finalised itinerary for the forthcoming Pakistan tour of India. The Pakistan Cricket Board has agreed to this schedule. The Pakistan team is set to arrive in India on February 28, a delay of three days from the original schedule. The Pakistan team will leave India on April 18.

For those who are complaining over Faisal Athar's exclusion; You got three openers already and Indian tour is not for experimentations.

I am surprised at Khalil's inclusion - He does not have that spark needed for fast bowler. Regarding Younis Khan being a Vice Captain, does it really matter in Pakistani Cricket. We have changed captains so many times and this is just Vice Captaincy. We can try anyone, even razzaq will get a chance don't worry, In the Pakistani team there is always an opening for Captains/Vice Captains.

i’m surprised arshed khan is included, mushy in dat case performs 2 in pak during the english off season but he isn’t considered? + khalil picked over shahid nazir is a bad choice, he for me is a weak link, given how he bowled in oz, he pitches the ball rite up and batsmen dispatch him with ease. i was hoping shabeera would recover in time 
on paper dis squad luks weak 2 me.

hopefully pak does well and the players manage to shut up all the critics by letting their performance do all the talking...

i personally don’t think so. pcb had issues with playing a test in ahmedabad due to the riots in 02’ but 2 compensate they r more then happy to play a extra odi their. wat’s the difference???

Former captain Wasim Akram says the selection of off-spinner Arshad Khan has boosted Pakistan’s chances of success on their tour of India.
Arshad has been recalled after a four-year absence for the three-Test series, which begins on 8 March.
The 33-year-old has taken 46 wickets in domestic cricket this season and Wasim said: "The selectors have done well to recall him to partner Danish Kaneria.
“These two have a role to play to keep Pakistan in a Test on all five days.”
Wasim believes the absence of paceman Shoaib Akhtar through injury will weaken the team, saying: “Pakistan will miss him in the Test matches.”
But he added: “I think he took the sensible decision because no bowler - no matter how great - is of any use to his team if he is struggling with an injury,”
Paceman Mohammad Sami has recovered from a groin injury suffered in Australia.
And left-armer Mohammad Khalil has satisfied the selectors he is ready to bowl again after dislocating his shoulder.
Meanwhile, India opening batsman Virender Sehwag says his team will be in good shape because the series will be played during their domestic season.
Sehwag believes India were under-prepared when Australia beat them last October.
“We are all preparing in match situations and match practice is most important,” he explained.
“We are in the middle of a season, and all the batsmen have shown they are in form.”
