Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

sorry and I don’t mean this as a cheapshot at all - but why does that surprise you? they don’t tell you most things and when they do they are lying to you. It is easier for people outside of Pakistan to not be influenced by such censoring.

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

and you can leave my thread now .. we have had enough discussion here!!!

its funny tht some ppl just coudnt digest A sikh professing his love for Pakistan ... or May I say A pakistani professing his love for Pakistan!!

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

will you say the same thing when someone from Pakistan says all muslims are one ummah and national boundaries do not prohibit them from trying to make the lot of muslims elsewhere better?

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

No. Muslims are one Ummah. That is a reality you cant change. Any Muslim, even an Indian one would tell you the same. Its ordained by the Islamic faith, and you cant adhere to the Islamic faith and not believe in this Ummah concept. You might not like that, but your oppinion on the matter is worthless.

Now Sikhs on the other hand, anywhere outside of India have nothing to do with you. There is no doctrine that declares that Indians are in anyway related to minorities in Pakistan, or anywhere else outside of India.

Besides this. Considering your countries track record, your the last person to be commenting on the status 0f Sikhs in Pakistan, or anyone else for that matter.

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

Ok now your really trying way to hard.

Just because there are those who have supported the Taliban, doesnt mean the Pakistan govt is influencing Taliban policy... The Taliban in the tribal belt are a criminal organization which has nothing to do with anthing but themselves. And I dont consider ISI as a part of the establishment. The very notion is ridiculous and could only have been concocted by the feverish mind of an Indian who places far to much stock in Indian misinformation and propaganda. If the ISI or the Pak govt truly wanted to impose a tax on minorities, they could have done it on their own, and they wouldnt have limited it to just the Sikhs in the Tribal belt.

Many of those who comprise your govt also support, or sympathize with Hindu extremists. It no secret. You could deny it as much as you like.
That does not however mean that your govt is actively supporting Hindu extremist ideology as policy.

Granted the nature of problem in Pakistan is of a different caliber then in India, but the problem isnt with us, we acknowledge we have problems; its with Indians who refuse to acknowledge their own problems and begin dictating to others.

I cited Aurangzeb as a history lesson. Sikhs in the Tribal belt lived in the the tribal belt for so long because they were granted saftey under the hospitality of Pashtun tribesmen. So before you begin vilifying the Pashtuns, due to the antics of criminals like the Taliban, you should know off and appreciate thee tolerance of the Pashtuns. The Sikhs have lived in the Tribal belt for centuries, safe among the Pashtuns, even during the height of the ethnic cleansing. The PASHTUNS are more noble thus then even you Indians with your occasional mob mentality.

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

so you are claiming a different ruleset for muslims and sikhs. that just proved my point that Pakistan does not and cannot treat minorities equally and fairly!

QED

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

hahaha .. as if you guys do !!! talk abt hypocrisy!

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

No. Im giving you facts. Read up on Islam, and you will realize this fact. I didnt make it up, the Muslim faith dictates that Muslims belong to a community or Ummah. I cant change whats ordained. So our religion demands that at least on some level, we are connected to Muslims be they in India, Chechnya, Palestine or China.

Is there any doctrine in Hinduism that establishes that you, Indian Hindus, have any kind of relationship to Sikhs in Pakistan? I would grant that as a Hindu you would have an affinity to Hindus of Pakistan on some level, but what makes you the thekadar of Sikhs living in Pakistan?

You had a Point?!?! I thought you were just talking out your rear.

I dont see how your point is proven. We as Pakistanis have an obligation to all those who call themselves Pakistani regardless of faith, and as Muslims we have an obligation to all those calling themselves Muslim, because as we are taught by our faith, Muslims belong to a global community. Where is the contradiction?

Although I admit Pakistan does not treat its minorities fairly, there is absolutely no reason to believe its incapable of doing so. Thats just an immature and ignorant thing to say.

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

If you admit this then why are you arguing with me and yourself?

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

keep it up , thank you very much, if others have such clips kindly post here , yahan hamesha tension ka mahaul rahta hai.

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

i declear you third umpire , is it a tie?pl give your verdict

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

Im arguing against your dishonest portrayal of the situation. Im arguing against your equating the Taliban to Pakistan as a whole.

Im arguing against your presumptuousness, and the belief that somehow you are responsible the minorities in Pakistan...

If you dont know what we have been debating, why do you bother to reply?

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

there was nothing left to debate when you admitted you have different rulesets for muslims and sikhs in Pakistan. That was my point as well, that Pakistan discriminates based on religion.

Beyond that you are tilting at windmills and spoiling for a fight. Not interested.

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

I never said that.

Lie's arent going to excuse you from making stupid, ill informed comments.

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

Really Med911? what about the following? if you're going to call people names everytime you lose an argument, you will never learn anything.

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

So what? I said,
"We as Pakistanis have an obligation to all those who call themselves Pakistani regardless of faith..."

Again, English isn't taught as a first language in India, but even you should be able to understand simple sentences.

You also conveniently decided to ignore another post by a Christian member of this forum:
"You really have to be mentally retarded to think non muslims pay jizya in Pakistan. But hey atleast Sikhs have their own marriage act here unlike in India."

Now you can obscure your entire argument with all kinds of nonsense, but lets keep it simple, and specific to the actual comment you made regarding Jizya.

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

@Med911 - re Jizya I have posted links and arguments that clearly contradict that.

Now your "so what" is clear indication that you can take no accountability to anything you say. After admitting Pakistan discriminates based on religion, you tried to play innocent and when show your own post, now you go "so what".

Why not show some grace when you are wrong instead of making a fool of yourself and calling me names?

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

Very true! Muslims are one Ummah. Non-muslims like Sikhs, Hindus, Qadianis, Christians and others can live in Pakistan with lesser rights than a Sunni Muslim as laid out by our founding fathers viz. Allama Iqbal and Qaud-e-Azam. This Sikh gets credit for speaking his heart out.
