Very true! Muslims are one Ummah. Non-muslims like Sikhs, Hindus, Qadianis, Christians and others can live in Pakistan with lesser rights than a Sunni Muslim as laid out by our founding fathers viz. Allama Iqbal and Qaud-e-Azam. This Sikh gets credit for speaking his heart out.
Um no... ALL Pakistanis live in pakistan with 100 percent equal right regardless of their faith.
Muslims may be an ummah the broader sense, but we are also Pakistanis. By being part of this Ummah, doesnt mean the rights of others should be undermined.
We are obligated as Pakistanis to treat all Pakistanis as equals no question. That means Chrstians can build their Chruches and worship freely with no hinderence, as with Hindus, and Sikhs. That also means that Ahmadis should be allowed to practice their faith regardless of their beliefs.
Your confusing me for one of those ultra conservaive Islamic fundamentalist types. I believe in Islam, but I also believe in a secular Pakistan in which ALL religious and ethnic groups are treated as equal.
