Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

As far as decline in non Muslim population after 1947 in Pakistan is concerned there are two reasons for that:

1) Bangladesh had a large Hindu population which seceeded in 1971 so we lost that population of Hindus
2) at the creation of Pakistan Punjab was divided and a mass exodus took place over the borders of Punjab due to the killings on either side of the border that's why there are very few Muslims on the Indian side of Punjab and very few non Muslims on Pakistani side. Man the population of Punjab is almost half of Pakistan and when non Muslims moved from here that affected the balance. You can check the demographics of Indian Punjab before and after partition and check the percentage of Muslims there. Even my family migrated from Indian Punjab.

End rights abuses in Kashmir, Amnesty tells India
Behind the Kashmir Conflict - Table of Contents (Human Rights Watch Report, July 1999)
usnewslasvegas.com

These are sources on Indian human rights violations in Kashmir. There are many more. Now all you have to do is read.

And I never said India was CONTINUOUSLY persocuting minorities. Im just pointing the fact that India’s human rghts record in the treatment of minorities is nothing to gloat over.
I mean Gujrat, Babri Mosque, Delhi, these events didnt occur a thousand years ago, we were all alive when they occured. Why are you denying what we all say for ourselves?

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

I don't have the time nor I want to research on this matter but many cities like Delhi and Amritsar had sizable Muslim populations and in undivided Punjab Muslims wre almost 65 percent. Do your research and then talk about this topic after the Partition no systematic cleansing has been carried out in pakistan

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

Good job. But I thought we were discussing SIKHS in Pakistan... Why do you suddenly bring in Indian Muslims? How does your treatment of Muslims have any bearing on Sikhs of Pakistan?

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

Yes, we were....until you decided to go off on a tangent by posting this:

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

This accusation of the disappearance of Pakistans minorities is an old ploy that just about every India eventually pulls out of his rear. Its amazing, even on this forum, almost every Indian will make this accusation, as if they are all reading from the same script. To date, I have never found a single India with even a shred of evidence.

All he has is the figure of 15-24 percent Minorities in Pak at partition. And thats it. And from that he concludes that there is an organized pogrom that resulted in Pakistans minorities simply disappearing.

And on top of that, he wants us to prove he’s right by doing the research to prove HIS accusation! :hehe:

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

Thats relevent because you questioned the morality and ethical basis of Jizya. Jizya is a part of Islam. If your going to question us on Jizya, then your bringn into question the validity of Islam.
If your bringing Islam into the picture, and pointing out somthing you see as a flaw, then its only fair to point out the flaws in your religion as well...

If you want to leave religion out of it, then please do. But if your going to bring up the topic, you should be prepared to have it thrown back in your face.

Dont even know why you bring up that sbject personally, as minorities dont even pay Jaziya in Pak. Im not a particularly religous person, but if our going to debate, debate honestly.

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

^ yes if he is serious he should just check the census of undivided Punjab before partition and the populations of punjabs and Haryana now he will find his answer

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

Wow..Mash'Allah. Pakistanis are Pakistanis regardless of their religion or culture. Thanks for standing up for the rights of innocent people who loose their lives over drone attacks which must be stopped in our country. And as we can see, the current government is totally powerless to stop these attacks...it is people like like this man, Imran Khan and alike who would stand up against this oppression and killings. Very refreshing perspective rangoli.

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

this isn't exactly shocking. i'm sure all three pakistani sikhs are very patriotic.

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

its difficult to compare the state of minoroties between india and pakistan-the reason is obvious pakistan was under dictators for a long period of time and they had to take the extrimist support inorder to remain in power-now democracy is there hopefully they start respecting minorities the way they expect wen they themselfs r in europe or in america

Re: Pakistani sikh Love For Pakistan

Stupid logic. Islam is relevant here because we are discussing Sikhs/minorities in Pakistan, which is a 97% Islamic majority country. Not sure how my religion is relevant to any of that, other than you trying obviously hard to side track the main issue.
