Do you know that you have no idea baout pakhtun history. Do you that Yahya khan was not pakhtun (I am not sure about ayub though). Do you that the only pashtun was Ghulam Ishaq khan and Farooq leghari I believe (one again not sure about leghari)? Do you know Faqir-i-ipi, or Khudai Khidmatgars or Samad Achakzai Khan?

yes i don,t know what your history is,i only know any refugee from afghanistan living in pakistan is a potentional risk to our country and should be put in jail and send back to afghanistan and any racist which has the attitude like you should be tried for treason and hanged afterall we created a country based on religoun and not some racialty and people who still dream of breaking pakistan for a rasist term called pushtunistan should be put on donkeys and also send to their dear afghanistan so we can to have more space for breathing.

noone is disriminating. Look tajiks and pashtuns don't neccessarily get along, but out of the nonsense, we are related. You don't us getting al riled up. Pakistan has to acknowledge these facts. Its a confederation at best, that is if we see proper democracy in the country. Army needs to be pushed to the barracks, and we need a decentralized government. This will help Pakistan, in my opinion, and hopefully end the ethnic tension.

ok guys point taken pakistan has a divide line in the middle, on one side balochistan and NWFP where pashtoon and baloch live, and on the other panjab and sindh where panjabi and sindhi and mohajir live

Pakistan was created in the name of Islam. Islam is the binding force for the people of Pakistan.

Respect breeds respect and vice versa. Afghanis are our muslim brothers. Afghan refugees are hard working people. I had some very nice afghan friends.
If you study some history you will come to know Afghan saints had played very important role in spreading Islam in Indian sub continent.

khanabadoshpk, I have been saying islam is the only factor that beings the ethnic groups together, but somehow I get called a racist, or kommie. Yes I want pashtun unity, but at the same time, I don't see why we can't acknowledge the facts infront of us. Islam is the only binding factor, and now having that in mind, we should federalize the country, deentralize it. Each ethnic group should have the right to practice their culture, speak their lanugae, study their history, etc.

i have not an issue with person who want to speak his language but what bother me most is the fact that if we punjabi can accept urdu which is alien to us as our language then what is the problem you have with it ,maybe you think you are better then the rest of pakistanis,i don,t see any other reason why you are hummering on these things.you can speak your language in your home same as we punjabis do, we don,t go and demand that punjabi should be the language of pakistan infact most punjabi today prefer to speak urdu over punjabi.i do not love pukhtun or afghanis i love muslims and if you talk to me as i muslim i will listen to you but when you start **** again over we diffirent then i would show you rather my middle finger we have enough muslim who are divided and any further dividing by this culture crap will not be tolerated as far as i am concered.

we never said pashto should be official in pakistan, but atleast in the pashtun-dominated areas? Whats wrong with that and why should we embrace urdu? If the country is made for islam, then embracing urdu or not has nothing to do with it. Being muslim enough should be good, why should urdu be thrusted or any langauge be that pashtu itself. You got to stop getting emotional and re-read what me and last are saying.

but putting a muslim country(not perfect)with this language crap in danger isn,t also a job of a goodmuslim.you know why arabs in state where they today are, cuz they fought for their culture their nationalism,they dastroyed ottoman empier by siding with foreigner and look today a tiny nation is kickking their ass same will happen to you people if you don,t stop this crap.i would rather live as slave in a country where muslim rule over me then as slave under non-muslim. any way go first and make pushto national lang of afghanistan if you are succeeded in that then we will see don,t get me wrong i share your view that pushto should be taught in schools where pushtoons are the majority but talking **** we aren,t same again and again isn,t going to help.

pashtu is the official language of afghanistan(national, but I am not sure about that, anyways the country is named after pashtuns). You need to calm down, no one is boosting superiority, but we would like to maintain our cultural values, thats why I want a decentralized pakistan, with democracy (although pashtun unity is my inal goal, it doesn't mean I am stupid enough to want the two countries to plunge into a war). Look all I am saying is that Islam is what binds the diferent ethnic groups, otherwise we share little in common. Theres no harm in admitting that is there? Why not embarce the multicultural environment.

^I don't think DASBZ_05 is saying it should be made a national language, infact it could never be but in areas which are dominated by pashtoon in pays to consider that the local language be Pastho. I guess for me, the confusion of sorting out issues such as school curriculums be a problem if it is changed to Pashto.
