Thats a fact. Had Hindus not been a peaceful community, the demographics of India would have been quite different.

One wrong doesnā€™t make other right. But when we talk about Hindus, we talk about Sindhi Hindus. As far I know they are more discriminated in India than in Pakistan. These Hindus generally live in Bombay, they are afraid to speak Sindhi and their children even don't speak their mother tongue. Their children or young generation adapted to other cultures and languages. Infact Hindus who migrated to India were forced to change their identity and culture. At least their culture or language is still alive in Sindh Pakistan, where they originally belonged.

Dont flatter yourself there buddyā€¦ Hindus are decent folks, but the demographics of India are the way they are because Hindus were never organzied enough to put up a fight against outside invaders who would eventually come to rule over themā€¦ Muslim and other minorites were safe in India not because of the benevolence of the Hindu community, but because of Muslim rulers were in charge and thus Islam survived etc.
Fact of the matter is that the Hindus just never had the organizational strength to put up a fight.
And, your whole kind hearts of the Hindu belief is exposed when we consider the Barbaru Masjid riots, the riots of 2002, the Sikh riots etc, among the many other acts of brutality including the murder of the missionary and his two sons not to long agoā€¦

You are so full of contradiction - had Hindus not been united, something like Gujarat riots would not have happened. It is to Hindu's credit that they have stayed peaceful elsewhere in the country.

And I am not talking about 1000 yr old history, I am talking of the last 60 yrs :)

Tell me then what is correct? Here (NA-Canada and USA) I met many Hindu Sindhis, their children have least knowledge about Sindhi Language and its culture. I lived in Pakistan and know many Sindhi Hindu friends and I am now living in NA and I know many Sindhi Hindus here also. Perhaps you live in India but denying the fact about Sindhi Hindus living there. Hindus migrated from Sindh, many went to Africa, Middle East, Southeast Asia etc and they are quite rich people. Majority living in Bombay, Gujarat and Hyderabad are not Sindhis. Sindhis migrated from Sindh to these places have lost their identity.

I thought Hindi is the official language of India. It surprised me that Sindhi is now official language of India. When did this happen? Bombay has mixed population, Sindhis are minority. Hyderabadi is the language of Hyderabad, Gujrati is the language of Gujrat. Both languages are 180% out with Sindhi language in alphabet, dialect etc. What in the hell are you talking about?

Lakkis25 already answered you. Sindhis as a community are among the more wealthy communities in India. And they speak Sindhi at home. Why their kids dont speak Sindhi or marry non-Sindhis is their choice and could have many reasons.

Most people living in India have an Indian identity, which is probably not true for Paki Sindhis. Maybe thats why you think there is a difference between them.

Again wrong answer. Sindhis living in Sindh are very much Pakistanis as other communities. Perhaps you don't know after Muslim Bengalis, Sindhi Muslims were very much vocal in creation of Pakistan and voted 80% next to Muslim Bengalis who were perhaps 100% in its favour. Quaid-e-Azam was born in Sindh and he was very much Sindhi. Again what in the hell are you talking about. Are you people here to bash Pakistanis, if this is your intention then you are in the wrong forum. Get your house clean first then talk about minorities in Pakistan.

No he has not. I would love to see his answer. I tell you why their kids donā€™t speak Sindhi or marry non-Sindhis because they are marginalized in India, they were forced to adopt language and culture of that part of India where they live because there is no East Sindh like East Punjab in India to maintain there identity and culture. They are looked down by other majority communities if they try to to keep their identity as Sindhi. I saw many Indian movies where Sindhi Hindus were mocked upon, looked down as a community in India as they came from a different planet.

Thats no benchmark since in movies various groups have been made fun of from time to time including South Indian Hindus, Parsis, Sindhis, Sikhs, Banias etc. For your information, a lot of the Bollywood big wigs are Sindhis.

You know better than us abt Sindhis in India hmmm??
Look, I met many Sindhi ppl and even my Landlord was a sindhi, He, His wife and thier children talks in Sindhi, ofcourse not too many ppl knows sindhi language in north India so they speak in hindi. but they exchage their words in Sindhi with family members. and they marry in thier own community I dont find any reason why Sindhi cannt marry to a Sindhi.
I also watch the hindi movies and they are Parsi not Sindhi to whom u feel they came from a diffrent Palnet. Here in India some problems between Hindus are because of caste but region was never a problem.

i come from sindh province and we have ver sizable hindu minority and i can tell few facts:
although ramprasad cannot become a prime minister but there are 100s of ramprasada who runs huge businesses, control the economy of rural sindh are at key positions in government can pass through CSS (civil services exam) are/were heads/ or at key positions of the government departments , are highly educated then their muslim peers most of the doctors in interior sindh you would belong to hindus.
i guess we had hindu chief justices of highest courts.
their standard of living is much higher than what you have in india.
they properly blend into our civil society, im not saying we are perfect but simply putting somebody at presidency doesnt mean you treat them well.

FARID don't argue blindly, go and check facts in internet
one guy filed a case in supreme court to remove sindh from national anthem, i don't know the result of it
In India each state has its own official language
Hindi is a national language, see indian curreny note for list of all 15 official languages, you can see sindhi there written in devanagari script, hope you don't understand as you write it in arabic script
other then hindi speaking states (UP,MP,Bihar, Haryana,Delhi, Rajastjan,HP)
hindhi is not used in any official communications
Gujart official langugae is gujarati
maharastra official language is marati
Tamilnadu offical language is tamil
there is no language called hyderabadi
Hyderabad is a capital of Andhra pradesh state
and Telugu and urdu are official language in Andhra pradesh
urdu is used only where muslim population is more and else where in the state Telugu is the official langauge and only 30 % of people from Andhra pradesh state understands hindhi, and in Karnatanka , tamilnadu,kerala no one understands hindhi, and tamilnadu is aganist hindhi, and in Andhra pradesh hindhi is compulsary in schools but still people can't speak,because every conversation held in telugu or english

O.k. It hurts you a lot that minorities in India are as victims as in Pakistan. Again One wrong does not make other right. When you talk about Hindu Sindhis, Muslim Sindhis will also come it to picture, except religion, almost every thing is common. More over it is Muslim Sindhis that Sindhi Hindus still live in peace in Sindh.
