^ I think you have lost track of the discussion. I was responding to your claim that Sindhi Hindus have lost their identity in India. We were not discussing Sindhi Muslims in Pak.
One wrong doesn’t make other right. But when we talk about Hindus, we talk about Sindhi Hindus. As far I know they are more discriminated in India than in Pakistan. These Hindus generally live in Bombay, they are afraid to speak Sindhi and their children even don't speak their mother tongue. Their children or young generation adapted to other cultures and languages. Infact Hindus who migrated to India were forced to change their identity and culture. At least their culture or language is still alive in Sindh Pakistan, where they originally belonged.
Contradictins only exist in your demented mind… The reason Hindu India was so easy to conquer by all the various invaders that arrived was because there was no organized defense of the whole of India…
And I dont call the gujrat riots organization… Whatever organization that did exist, was at the govt level, which organized and perpetuated the whole thing. And the past 60 years has nothing to with your over all benevolence either. It only has to do with the fact that it is a Hindu govt, and a Hindu dominated society. In such a society, minorities arent enough of a threat to warrent majority benevolence. It speaks volumes about your society when you have laws which forbid conversions.
The thread started by sal135 regarding Hindus in Pakistan. Only Sindhi Hindus live in Pakistan and they all live in Sindh. His apprehension about these Hindus is correct that they are discriminated. I don’t know why Hindus who left Sindh their reputation so bad in India. I heard from one Christian from Gua (he was pitch dark but he was saying that he was descendant of Portugese!!) saying that ‘avoid snake but kill Sindhi’. Why was he saying that? Is it because of community or because of their business dealings in India? You tell me.

To judge an entire community of 800 million people, based on the acts of a few hundred/thousands is stupidity. Thats like judging all Muslims by the actions of Islamic terrorists.
i just know one thing, that in india, the minorities have mch more right and face much more easy life than pakistan, even the president of india is a muslim, indians never disapprove of that, and the relegion are viewed in much more open way in india then in pakistan
