^ people like quas should be more worried about people lost within Islam first. I never suggested that conversion from one side to other don't happen, but its ridiculous to conclude that at one point Pakistan will be all Christian.

What makes you think that they have not been able to convert muslims?. The western media says islam is fastest growing (in terms of immigration or conversion i dont know) and at the same time they say this

First of all the number six million is a little too much. It seems made up. And i never said that muslims done leave islam. I said they are not as successfull against muslims as against hinduism.

One reason I can think of is that Hindu religion does not force anything on its followers as Islam does. One is free to interpret Hinduism as they want, whereas in Islam there are a lot of restrictions. So how much a person believes in Hinduism is left to the individual and varies with their interpretation.

In ancient time there were multi-god religions all over the world. Almost all the religions eventually evolved into single God and organized religion with rules and ethics. Today's ethics, justice and several social rules of the modern society have stemmed from these religions. But Hinduism is the only religion which didn't evolve further and remained a disorganized religion.

In fact, Hinduism is not a religion in true sense. The word HINDU comes from Persians who called all the people living beyond INDUS river (Sindhu river) as HINDU. The practice of worshipping in different part of India is different and there is no standardization like in ISLAM or CHRISTIANITY where worshipping practice is in a typical standard way. There are rules in ISLAM to donate part of your earnings to the poor people and to refrain from indulging in money making practices which exploit poor people. There are also rules with regard to marriage where approvals from both partners must be sought and procedures to handle separation and also rules for property division. Islam was the first religion to clearly proclaim that all people irrespective of their status, were equal before GOD. The last concept was so revolutionary that ISLAM spread like wild fire from Spain to China in just 80 years. This phenomenon is comparable to World Wide Web phenomena which spread in a similar way in just five years just because it was free, unregulated and democratic.

this i dont agree. You forgot unbelievers. Also, Hindus were wrong to divide themselves into castes. Vedas do mention casteism, but it not by birth. Rig veda purusha sukta, mentions 4 groups of people that are there through out the world.

what do u gain by conversion. !!! Do people have better life. Does the ills facing the world will go away, if all people are converted to either christianity or Islam. None. religion does not guarantee peace. Religion is only devisive. From its inception religion had sought to divide people. U r either with us or against us.Which brings us to the question that relegion is man made and God if he were to make it should have been stupid to have made any religion.

Yes, and there in lies the beauty of Hinduism. I feel religion is just a way to connect you to God, however I dont want it imposed on me that I need to pray 5 times a day, or consider non-believers in my religion as infidels or have religious leaders indoctrinate me with the philosophy of hate. Unfortunately, that quality is fast going away since Hinduism is also changing to adapt to the assault from other groups.

I mean to say that all multi GOD religion in the world gave way to single GOD religion. Hinduism too was on the brink of extinction and was giving way to Budhism in India but surprisingly it sprung back in the 10th century while Budhism rapidly declined in India. Hinduism is the only multi GOD religion in the world today. All other current religions are single GOD religion.

Where did you get that from ? Hinduism on the brink of extinction :D

Hinduism is the only religion in the world which has had other religions coming out of it - Budhism, Jainism, Sikhism etc. but never has Hinduism been in danger of being extinct.

Or, in other words they would even leave hinduism to join some devil worship cult rather than stay as hindu. if u have faith in ur religion u would not leave it even for all the wealth in world. Why are the christians ONLY successfull against hindus in converting them and not as successfull against muslims?

Before 1947 Hindus were practically everywhere in Pakistan, though concentrated in Sindh. Hidus generally were well of and rich as compared to local population of Sindh. Rich Hidus were living in Karachi mostly Business men. After partition, they were forced to leave Karachi and from other places in Pakistan. You find Hindus living peacefully only in interior Sindh perhaps because of similar culture and language. Most of the evacuee property was grabbed by Muhajirs who came from Khokhrapar and other places claiming they were milonears in India. A number of Hindu Temples were destroyed in Karachi and Lahore and converted to mosques. Sabil Masjid was originally Guru Mandir, the famous place in Karachi. Muhajir occupied these properties without any documentation and legality. They thrived on these evacuee properties but still un-happy.

Coming back to discrimination to Hindus in Pakistan, Yes they are discriminated and hated for that matter even ethinic and sectorial rift thrived in the eighties duing era of General Zia-ul-Haq. If any Hindu saying that he is not discriminated is absolutely lying. Hindus are generally peaceful community and keep them from any kind of violance as much possible. They lie to save their skin from persecution.
