I am surprised you dubbed Ramiz as one kisser. He is very unbiased and sometimes unnecessarily tilted towards opposing teams and criticizes pakistani team in very strong words. Strange observation!

Well played pakistan. They batted well and bowled also exceedingly well. And well played dravid and laxman. from indian point of u we want another of those culcuttan innings from these two. And please Dravid show Afridi how to play in a test match..:). He seems to be always in a one day mold.

All in all, this match is still showing no indication that it will produce a result. Tomorrow's play will decide if indeed that is the case. Somehow, 19 more Indian wickets in 3 days, doesn't really look like happening. Then again, like the England series showed, it's a funny game.
Looking ahead to Karachi, it will be another pressure cooker especially if Pakistan are on the receiving end of the toss. It will be a great moral victory for India if they can escape defeat despite huge first innings score on two occassions. It will be a good test of our batting.

Inzamam-ul-Haq, the Pakistan captain, has ruled himself out from participating any further in the second Test due to back pain and also admitted that he is a doubtful starter for the third match starting in Karachi. He was in tremendous pain today and the exact nature of the injury would only be known after the MRI reports are received later in the evening.

^ That's a big blow but not for this match, because if we have to bat again in this match, it's a draw anyway.

I did not follow the game last night.
Just wondering why RP was not given the ball towards the end. His figures seemed to be quite impressive.
Anyways, I am happy with India's bowling (particularly Zaheer and RP) . They bowled their heart out (from what I saw on the 1st day) inspite of the pitch. Hope these guys keep Agarkar at bay with their performances.
As for the match, it is either a DRAW or a win for PAK. The toss has more or less ensured that India cannot win.

But I agree, a five-for on debut would've been really nice, and he was bowling well.

Honestly, I could care less if Pakistan had scored 700+.
On this pitch and after winning the toss, I think Pakistan just did the expected, that is to score over 500 runs. The only noteworthy thing(as far as I am concerned) about Pakistan’s innings was Pak scored the runs in quick time (thanks mostly to Afridi).
Other than the above…if Pakistan ends up winning this test…it would be 80% due to the pitch and toss. I can see how the situation at this point could have been easily reversed , if India had won the toss.
You can consider my opinion biased or even whining but I think the above is true. I can’t imazine any team winning on this pitch after batting second…the best they can do is hope for a draw…which I am sure India is doing right now.
