I don't disagree with that statement. For some reason, I thought I heard Waqar refering to him as the best batsman in the world, and was wondering if I heard it correctly or not. Thanks for clarifying. :)

I am really liking Younis in his captaincy role, whenever he gets such an opportunity. As soon as Sehwag's catch was dropped, he immediately came over by Farhat, and told him to keep his eyes on the ball (by using his hand-actions/visuals). If Inzi were to be in Younis's place, he would have stood his ground, and never would have moved a single inch, except showing his frustration and his usual 'gloomy' facial expression.

Inzimam gets a lot of flak for his captaincy. sometimes undue if you ask me. Yes he isnt an ideal captain but his biggest credit that he has removed superstar culture from the team and made this young team a force to be reckoned with.

Well, yes, I am not blaming Inzamam for anything that he hasn't done, or taking away and tearing apart anything from him. Every player comes with a bag of strengths and weaknesses, and Inzamam is no different. While I do give all the credit in the world to Inzamam on transforming this unit into a winning combination, I do, however, criticize the way he manages "the boys" out in the field. What happened amidst Sehwag's dropped catch is a prime example. Inzamam would never have done such a thing, which I think is either being a bit too lazy, or just being non-responsive and playing deaf ears on the current happenings. A captain should be in contact with the fielders, at all times, sometimes going over to them, giving his encouragement, support, a pat on the back, I am sure we can count several thousand in this category. What Younis Khan did was a lively example, and that is precisely the reason why I am more inclined towards captains who are more 'active' and 'responsive' with their team-mates.

Shoaib is bowling really well. He is getting the ball to move. If we can bring in Razzaq at the other end, we definitely have a chance on our hands for a wicket or two before the end of day's play.

Kamran Akmal is a great addition to the Pakistani team. Besides his strengths in batting and keeping, he is excellent his supporting bowlers and fielders, alike, in the field. Constantly keeping his mates in check, praising their efforts after almost every delivery, and many others, are just flat-out praise-worthy.

Why are we persisting with Asif? Why not have Razzaq and Shoaib bowl to them in the last half-hour, creating extra pressure?
We threw the game away after the fall of first wicket. Instead of bringing in Shoaib, we had Razzaq and Asif bowl to Laxman. Now he looks to be settling his way in.
That was a benefit of the doubt, I think.
