Pakistan visit visa question

My wife and I are both British passport holders and both have Nadra (NICOP) cards which we will use for our visit to Pakistan. We’re currently living in the UAE and have a UAE residency visa.

However, our daughter has not got a Nadra Card so we need to apply for a visa. She has a British passport.

Can the travel agent apply for a visa for our little girl or do we need to do it in person? If so, Where can we obtain this from and is the procedure straight forward?

Re: Pakistan visit visa question

I don't know if there are agents who can do this for you. I hope they can. Because the Pakistani Embassy in Dubai is the last place on Earth where you want to stand in a cue for hours. Especially with a kid.

Re: Pakistan visit visa question

i think the children under 12 years of age may be allowed to be endorsed on the mother's passport. i am NOT sure if 9/11 has changed the rules of child endorsement.

Re: Pakistan visit visa question

Most countries do not allow child endorsements on parent's passport anymore. Here in Austria they stopped doing it last year.

Re: Pakistan visit visa question

oh ok...thanx for the info. i wonder if this was due to 9/11?

Re: Pakistan visit visa question

Do they have an office in RAK?

Re: Pakistan visit visa question

No. The Consulate in Dubai is responsible for the Northern Emirates incl. RAK as well. The Embassy in Abu Dhabi is responsible for Abu Dhabi only.

Re: Pakistan visit visa question

I have a question here, if you don't have Pakistani visa or nico card will you get visa at airport when you arrive there?

Re: Pakistan visit visa question

No you won't. They won't even let you board the plane.

Re: Pakistan visit visa question

^ hain? Seriously?

Re: Pakistan visit visa question

Why are you so surprised? That would be the same for any other country in the world that requires you to obtain a visa prior to traveling there.

Pakistan visit visa question

Wait but i do have a Pakistani passport too,

But I wanted to book my flight with USA passport because I’m gonna stay In Uk for couple of days.

Now what should I do? :bummer:

If I book my flight with Pakistani passport will they give me boarding card for UK without Uk’s visa on it?

And if I’m booking my flight with USA passport then phir Pakistan Ki visa ka masla :smack:

I’m sorry if these are stupid questions :frowning:

Re: Pakistan visit visa question

Ok. I didn’t know you have a Pakistani passport too. I don’t have my Pakistani passport anymore and assumed that this is the case for you as well, that’s why I was saying that you either need a visa or a NICOP/POC.

I’m not sure how it works with Dual citizenship but I’ve heard of people who have done it the way you seem to want to do it, ie traveling the US-UK route on the US passport and then the UK-Pk route on the Pakistani passport.
