The real threat is Russia. Pakistan should be there when Russia attacks Turkey because no one else is going to step up for Turkey....not even EU. In fact, specially not EU.
It may happen considering Putin's interest in the Middle East. Many are continually blaming Turkey for secretly supporting the IS, giving them safe passages, etc.

Russia has been killing non-ISIS rebels as well as civilians....Russia supports Assad and even if it means keeping ISIS alive as a threat. ISIS won't be stopped without Assad stepping down....it's all quite messy.

In saying this, didnt Gen. Raheel repeat the official perspective of Pak govt, as was said before when Saudi asked for Pakistan's help? I think the response back then was correct in that there is no territorial threat to Saudi, hence no need for Pak to jump into what essentially is a domestic Yemeni issue.
