Even if it true, I'm with Kamran. I don't care what everyone says. family always comes first then cricket. As a good father you have a responsibility to take care of the baby.
As a professional, you are paid a handsome amount to perform your job. Most countries allow wives/girlfriends to accompany players for a LIMITED time during overseas tours..ie...they are allowed to visit at the end of the tour...say the last week or so....or if its a long tour...then for a week or so midway. Then they pack up and leave.
Our players take their wives and kids everywhere - half of the players have become tableegis and to add to that come the wife and bachas...and you wonder why they dont look like they give a damn when they are getting their butts kicked around the world.
PCB needs to ensure these guys are treated like the other cricket players around the world..meaning they can have their kids and wives visit them on foreign tours for a limited time....not always and definately not for the full tour.
If they think thats unfair...so be it. Pakistani cricketers should not be given any added incentives and benefits compared to the other cricketers around the world..especially when we are now one of the worst teams in terms of results out there today....
