Re: Pak V England - First test Match
My bad, I meant the top 5. I wonder if the two batsmen at the crease spend the whole day batting tomorrow? ![]()

Convenient, it was, to place that such label against any person caught on the face of this earth with one's own set of unpalatable comments - same as was posted in the post quoted earlier, but of course, with varying degrees of alteration.

Re: Pak V England - First test Match
At Sumps 66/3.
Englands day again. They have dominated the first two days. Lets hope Pakistan comes out fighting tomorrow.
For all those who are feeling despondent, you never know, remember Multan, England dominated the first 4 days and lost the match. Who knows??
Re: Pak V England - First test Match
That idiot Farhat couldn't even play out the day. Now we have to lose another wicket early tomorrow morning.
Ok so "just one bad day" excuse already expired yesterday. Lets hear the new ones for today.
Re: Pak V England - First test Match
Since the day was almost ending when Eng declared Pakistan thought they should send in their tailenders. One tailender got out so Pak sent in one real batsman (M Yousuf) just to end the day but the tailenders could not stand strong we will inshAllah see our real batting tomorrow and they will inshAllah take the team out of all the troubles. (M Yousuf, Inzi, Akmal, Razaq, Afridi)
Re: Pak V England - First test Match
Our hostile bowling in that series, won't be seen this time along due to injuries. Our batsmen have not proved a great deal outside the sub-continent. So its a 50/50 chance that they will repeat the performance they did in December. England's batting is not that poor as some journalists think. They might have lost against SL recently, but they have enough bench strength. The only thing that goes in Pak favour is that Flintoff and Jones are not playing.
So based on facts my pridiction is a series draw at the best, otherwise England winning this time along. And I accept it with open heart.
Again its Pakistan side which has done miracles before, so nothing is impossible.
You are a mighty fool to be making such predictions based on two days of play and three dismissals.
We are in a difficult position, but that's because of some fielding mishaps and some bad decisions, and that too in the absence of our main strike bowlers. We have lost our openers, but there hasn't been much trouble from the wicket and we don't need to butcher our batsmen yet.
We have only seen first two days of 20 days of test series for God's sake. Why don't you go hockey or something?

That idiot Farhat WAS PLAYING OUT THE DAY, which is why HE LET THE BALL GO. Get it? He wasn't slashing hard at it! He was letting it go and misjudged the line. Be gracious and give the guy a break.
There doesn't have to be excuses for bad days. Pakistan team doesn't have a divine right to dominate on every single day. Test match is a game of strategies and mental toughness. There will be days when we dominate other teams, and there will be days when we'll get absolutely thrashed. If you can't deal with it, go watch snooker or something.
Re: Pak V England - First test Match
Which is why we all love cricket. :)
Re: Pak V England - First test Match
Absolutely
Re: Pak V England - First test Match
If you read all three of my posts you will see I am not complaining but putting up the facts. When we donāt have full strength, its hard to win, period. Nothing wrong with it.
As far as comments on Butt are concerned, thats I have been doing since the start of Indian series as I donāt see him capable of improving himself. A solid 16 months run for an opening batsman is enough for him to establish himself and correct his flaws. But he seems to be ignoring it. Its not like Gangz canāt play bouncer type of technical issue, but flirting with wide deliveries is something not digestable easily.

I agree completely, Smooth_Guy Bhai. :)

Sir jee, you didnāt read my post. I said I predicted in the poll few weeks back, not today. Go read again ![]()
And I am OK with a draw or even a defeat. Since we donāt have enough firepower (specially in this match). Lets hope for the best and take it as game.
Re: Pak V England - First test Match

Farhat - 33 ⦠bara ehsaan kia 33 runs bana ke sarkaar ne
Pak 66/3 sigh ⦠but who expected Butt and Farhat to score century anyway? The only disappointment is Faisal Iqbal ![]()

Main difference from England's visit to Pakistan last December.
Our hostile bowling in that series, won't be seen this time along due to injuries. Our batsmen have not proved a great deal outside the sub-continent. You should also add Vaughan- no doubt England smissing his leadership skills.
I also agree that Pakistan batsmen need to prove outside the subcontinent, especially the following:
Re: Pak V England - First test Match
what are the coaches doing?..they continued to spray the ball today, there was no strategy and planning in their bowling.and why is younis khan not playing?izamam does'nt like yonis khan, everbody knows theres a bit of jeolousy between the 2 as mota will eventually lose his captaincy to him.i think captaincy was not good yesterday motas' field placing was bad and he should've taken farhat off slip once he had dropped the first catch, but he kept him there and he dropped 2 more.
Re: Pak V England - First test Match
^ keep Younis vs Inzi rivalry aside, they have played so many matches together after that last incident.
Re: Pak V England - First test Match
Similarly people were saying it all along about Sami ![]()
Re: Pak V England - First test Match
Was it good idea to send Faisal Iqbal in at no 3? Why don't someone like Yousaf bat at this position - because Faisla normally bats lower down the order. I wish we can find out who decides the batting order? More then likely its the dopey Inzi.
