I used a blackhead removing strip on my nose and apparently it did the trick but I ended up with open pores.. whenever I use a toner I end up with breakouts.. I like the ice pack one...will give it a try next time. Also what kind of shop should one look for the sandalwood paste?
Sandalwood paste, also called chandan paste can be found in all Indiaon stores. If u can't find it in paste form buy it in powdered form and mix it with rosewater.
^wat do u mean by that, is similar to the clarisonic or neutrogena brush thing that cleanses/exfoliates ur skin??
and thanks Gina for the tips!
brush exfoliation means u exfoliate with a brush be it manual or electrical. u don't necessarily hav to buy a clarisonic for that. u can simply use a soft bristle brush for the purpose. u can also search for battery operated brushes if u like the after effects of a manual brush. the way i do it is put on my scrub/ cleanser n instead of using fingers gently massage it with a brush using circular motion. i do it on alternate days only as i hav sensitive skin. this method stimulates blood circulation, cleanses more effeciently n hav tightened my really large pores. i hav been doing it for over a month now n still my pores r tight.
i have read there is no permanent solution to large pores. one can make them appear smaller using silicone based primers and makeup..
i have never applied steam my face or had a facial...the thought of large pores scares me..
