while you are doing it, you may want to send emails to the home office etc. links and email addys were provided in a previosu thread.
direct mail to MPs and ministers gets much better visibility than indpeendent petitions.

and lastly. quality control peoppe, quality control, if you are going to put a global petition that you want people to sign, would it kill ya to run a spell check or have someone look at the composition quality.
the follwoing two paragraphs from the petition could have been spun better. I mean its not just what you are saying but how you are saying it that is important too.

The UK government may obtain transcripts of Altaf Hussain’s telephonic conversations a week before 12 May, when the wanton killing occurred, and a week later to ascertain how deeply he was involved in the heinous crimes in Karachi.
Peace loving people in Britain and around the world want to know how you make a difference between Osama Bin Laden and Altaf Hussin. Since you are so sure that Osama has used Afghanistan and has carried out attacks against innocent civilians in NY, USA. What Altaf Hussain is doing? It’s OK for him to use his base-camp in London and carry out attacks against innocent Pakistani civilians? It’s OK as far he doesn’t wear a Turban and keep a Muslim’s Style beard and does not say the name of God before killing? *

someone has to be held responsible for the idiotic operations in Karachi in the 90s that were condemned by human rights watch etc. and if the people who gave the orders are sitting in UK. Might as well get their visas cancelled.

And My state senator responded to my earlier email to him about this subject. Although he referred to me as Ms. the response said that he will keep what I said in mind when any discussion comes up about Altaf Hussain.

The petition is worded poorly and the two paragraphs that I indicated earlier, give a flavour to this petition that I disagree with.
I have previously sent notes to my MP and the home office, and feel that a direct contact approach is still better.
