For few months now, I was relaxed and happy(I am sure like every one else), that army operation broke the back of taliban.
Then we saw all it took half dozen mad men with gun to do what they did. So after we hang all them in jails.
Kill them in their hide outs, we will (God forbade) always have one or 2 such men.
Problem also is they are not receiving the message we are sending. We send them to hell.. they end up in heaven.
So my dear country men, I think biggest part in ground level cleaning is deal with clerics. They are the one converting hell into heaven for those mad men.
Good news is, as ignorant these clerics are, they still love their lives, their wudu… thir ankle high shalwars. they halwa.. etc etc…
They are in no hurry to leave earth for heaven. As a results easy to fix. Easy to find.. Easy to warn..
Much easier to kill every last mad man with a gun.
We have seen their ignorance/evil manifesting in sectarianism and in blasphemy episodes.
So we should pay serious attention to them when we do grass root cleaning.
I am sure like all fanatics they think they are the chosen ones to stay on earth and spread their message while they make the brainwashed do their dirty work.
I am disturbed reading in express tribune that one of the convicted terrorists was an ex army medical officer, a doctor. Like i know profession doesn’t exclude terrorists and there are terrorists in Al Quaeda who are doctors like Zawahiri and Syrian prime minister Assad. But this is still shocking. I am sure he had a part in helping the terrorists wear military uniform as disguise to enter school as reported in this international newspaper. Not making any generalisations but this shows that no one or no profession or institution is above criticism.
There can be no justification that these animals can use to give reason for their actions. But how can a doctor, someone who has taken oath to protect lives, even contemplate this. He has a comfortable living, respect in society and he has disrespected his army background by doing this.
“If our women and children die as martyrs, your children will not escape,” he said. “We will fight against you in such a style that you attack us and we will take revenge on innocents.”
The Taliban say the attack, in which gunmen wearing suicide-bomb vests executed the children and staff, was retaliation for a military offensive carried out by the Pakistani army. They accuse the military of carrying out extrajudicial killings.
You see this tells a lot about the lack of knowledge these TTP people have … but they have a lot of influence … True revenge of the killing of innocents is not to go off and kill innocents - that is heinous. If the pro-Taliban want to demonstrate that unlawful and unethical killings have happened then they need to become better at portraying the picture from their point of view and they need to maintain the rules of Islam and not go after soft and innocent targets.
I would address the TTP with these words:
*Don’t make bombs, don’t do suicide killings they are haram - get some TV and video equipment and record the losses that you claim is being done by the Pakistani Army - show the world and get proper sympathy and the people will ensure their methods are adjusted and even ensure that people are taken to account … also make sure your innocent and weak are kept well away from your military activities - it is unethical to operate behind them using them as a shield …
*But this is not about being Islamic - it is about something else …
There are reasons.
I think we can divide them in 2.
1- if they are NOT sending their children, and keeping them self safe from suicide attacks,
then they are the ones in for making money. We have heard this phenomenon long time ago, perhaps 8-10 years ago, when Taliban did not have so much record. We knew money was being spent.
2-I promise I am not lying, I have not heard a genuine religious argument, supporting their action.
Even for rebuttal of their argument, we have to have little religious interest, so we could talk about it.
But then again, their argument is void , even before talking about it, when them selves and their children are safe and sound.
I don’t know why I said that, because when I think about it, they dont have any argument, what they manipulate is students faith in them.
Usually these thank less ba@#@$$#@ds dont even reply, then they read same thing written by some John Doe… in some Jeny craig newspaper, then they are all over it.

There are other obvious factors. But right now we are going after foot soldiers, and My point again is, its not going to work.(hope I am wrong.)
Well I am speech less, in a way.
1-I do not speak for establishment and their quick fixes, obviously those fixes created more issues.
2- We can not, for the sake of argument, over look major things. As difference between:
-killing an innocent civilians
-defending your land.
They are two extremes. In every single country defenders are given honor.
And let me remind, afghans were fighting inside their own country.
Now some people are killing school children, stopping girls education. Well they start from some thing very wrong.
Like I said before, religious aspect can only be discussed when we want to spend some time. some openness , at least to listen.

I do not care if their innocents got killed in Zarb e aab - that’s their own fault. Pakistan army has a right to retaliate when suicide bombings take over 50k lives, no one can run a girls school in peace, people are hung for no apparent documented reasons answerable to writ of law in swat, they take over cities and hoist their flag, they run a parallel secret government in north waziristan where they conduct crime and kidnappings in Karachi to fund themselves, they attack nato trucks, they keep and protect masterminds of 911, they refuse to negotiate down anything less than “let us take over the world” and psyah is crying how they are getting bombed after WEEKS of warnings for women and children to travel out of these cities , which they DID. The ones that do not endorse any of the above.
The ones who stayed behind including their “innocents” are fair target at that point.
Stop painting the Pakistani army as being anything t short of muslim in this zarb-e-aab campaign.
