I use the treadmill for a warm-up. Then I use the step-machine. Then use the treadmill for running. I have a boring routine in the gym! Hehe!
Basically my target is abs, thighs, bum, arms etc.
hmmm steps require higher fitness level. Did you ever think about working out outdoors ?
Like a bike/skates ?
People say elliptical is better for your knees, I try to do that 3-5 times a week and I walk about 4 miles on the weekends.
again try working an other routine too. How about walking to begin with. Eventually jogging?

Maybe in a month or so, I might join a class or two for strengh training :)

Thanks PM, very helpful tips...i am thinking ill switch to cardio workout classes (like kickboxing or something) they offer at the gym (could do that twice a week) and on other days will cont. with my regular cardio routine.

kickboxing rocks! its high intensity and you burn loads of calories (500+). If you are used to doing high intensity work outs...then this is def a must class for u.

now we are talking hardcore fitness. I once train a class of girls boxing. They all used to do every thing but boxing. May be or two if them actually did bag punching.
So I thought that no girl would be interested.
But its one of the best work out ever.
Let me know when you start I can train you in punching.

im hardcore in kickboxing.....love the punching bag. I see huge results from it and at the end of class im dripping in sweat. The more sweat the more fat/calories u burn. I love it!
the only thing is....my fists turn tomato red :(
i bought some gloves....will wear em today.

Is that even true? More sweat= more calories lost? I thought it was one of the exercising myths.

No more sweating doesn't equal to more calories loss...thats a misunderstanding by many. AE prob. burns a lot of calories cuz that workout it's really intense.

I did 50 squats with wieghts yesterday and I can barely walk today (yaaaaaaaaaay!!!)

Do some today even with out weight to ease your pain.
I injured my knee, I didn't do any work out over weekend I am so upset. I am going to life1.
