I don't see it.

I have been near swimmers all my life so I don't see flesh or the wedgies or glittery costumes.

I see an athlete. I don't see body part but a individual that can do anything with their bodies if they put their minds to it.

Whole western dress code in summer is somewhat softporn, I don't understand why dude had to write an article about it. If he is complaining about Olympic athletes having better bodies then ordinary half naked chick walking on the street, then dude need to deal with it in his own time.

I just watched an amazing athlete on the parallel bars.
The routine left me absolutely speechless with my jaw hanging open. I could not believe the kind of strength, precise control and fluidity that his body exhibited. I thought of this thread and some of the comments and almost wanted to throw up for the disrespect that is being shown.

This man must have worked for thousands of hours, hundreds of days just to be able to compete today. He would have given up sleep, sacrificed his desires for those things that we eat/do inconsequentially. He must have dedicated his life to his sport and we have people sitting here reducing his efforts/dreams to nothing more than sexuality…

No one’s reducing their efforts to just sexuality, it’s just that they look sexy too. It’s “aam ke aam guthlion ke daam”. I know the odds of me ever looking like the guy who does parallel bars. Looking at the guys physique while knowing those odds adds to the awe factor. When a female athlete has better traps than me, that is just jaw dropping. I haven’t played any of the sports those athletes play, however I do understand the difficulty of sculpting bodies like theirs. I know most of them don’t give a second thought to how they look(they don’t really have to), but I notice, like millions of others. Damn! Why didn’t my school have any sports?

Yes. And if one really notices, same or similar sport for men and women, but men wear more clothes than women! Why is that?

Just an example:

Not going to post women with skimpy clothes, sorry.

By the way, this tradition of men wearing more clothes is just a ‘norm’ these days outside sports too.

Men are shy, women are not!
