Obama survives, prepares for general election

Re: Obama survives, prepares for general election

Anyway, I think no one can ever accuse Kaleem or Reverand Wright to be politically correct. They say whats on their mind and how they see it, regardless of how absurd it may sound. As a firm believer of freedom of opinion and speech, I think Kaleem has every right to believe that Edwards is an ambulance-chaser, wife-abondaner scum bag, while half-black Obama is an elitist, semi-KKK racist, and Hillary is a lesbian. Big deal.

I am more interested in Republicans views on McCain and his eye-popping plan to stay in Iraq for 100 years (blantant media spin, ofcourse, and completely out of context IMO) while the pull out will begin much sooner, reversal of Roe vs Wade, economic magic by suspending the gas tax for the summer and the amazing plan to fight ongoing recession.

Re: Obama survives, prepares for general election

Tell me Faisal when was the exit poll believed to be scientific and reliable? Maybe in San Fransicko it is believed to be true and all the stone pusher yuppies do believe in Obama as the Messiah's second coming, but the fact remains that the guy has no substance, no experience, categrozies people as "bitter americans" and than turns around talks about change. What exactly is he going to chnage? He could not even change the views of his beloved Pastor and he wants american public to believe that he will convince Ahmedinjad?

Re: Obama survives, prepares for general election

Let me ask you what exactly is the golden boy's plan for Iraq? That is right he has none. What is his economic plan... oh lets see...take the money from the hard working rich americans and give it to the poor who sit on their arse and complain all day that they are poor. Socialize medicine and make people wait 2 to 3 weeks for a doctor appointment. That does sound like something to go all gooo gaga for.

BTW: It may be asburd to you, but you cannot refute any one of those items which makes your statement of mixing me with Wright ...well absurd and obnoxious.

Re: Obama survives, prepares for general election

^ Thing is you again ducked the question. :) You keep harping about Democrats and how bad they are (ok, fine, we get it that you don't like them), but when you are asked directly to comment on Republicans, you run the other way too.

So what do you think of McCain and his election promises? Simple question. Now don't go off on tangents about Democrats again. Stay focussed. Don't ask a question to answer a question. Thats just bad discussion manners. I know its hot in Texas, so stay cool. Cheers! :)

Re: Obama survives, prepares for general election

Ok, Faisal, I have already stated that I am very skeptical of McCain and his blundering ways. If I recall correctly I said that if McCain does not choose Romney as his VP candidate...... I will abstain from voting this election. There is not a single good candidate in this election. No one has stood out or come out with solutions to the problems that we american citizens face. I am only harping about Obama and dems because
1. The thread is about Obama
2. He is phony, hypocrit and racist.
3. Its fun to make fun of so called "change" leaders.

BTW: Its nice to see that at least one Californian remebers and respects the constitution, because the mayor of your city and the rest of californians have apparently solf their soul to the fudgepackers and stone pushers. :)

Re: Obama survives, prepares for general election

President Bush should have concentrated in post 9-11 on Afghanistan and the total annihilation and destruction of Taliban and the warlords. Instead , choosing to go into Iraq and diversifing and stretching the game he has cause much gain to go down the toilet. Iraq should have been invaded in second term.

Obama will just add the flush.

I support Hilary Clinton, if the best people can do is counter argue her suitability based on a sexual dalliance of President Clinton it it self bespeaks volumes on their credibility in opining on which candidate is best suited.

As it is the political and all the machinations against having a woman President boils down to a simple fact: at all cost find a suitable 'equal opportunity' candidate to oppose her . Obviously Mcrepublican does not fit the criteria of an 'equal opportunity' opponent. Tada , let roll in OBAMA.

The media is absolutely been abhorrent to Clinton , twisting and misspeaking and misleading at every opportunity in order to get a man , and any man will do.

Personally , there is much damage the democrats have done to their own image and nothing to do with Hilary. The states have not finished voting, the nomination is not over and if I was a superdelegate I would weigh her efforts and her determination against all the negativity which has been slandered against her. I salute her in her endeavours as she has every fortitude and persistence in her energies to go after a position without bowing to the nay sayers. She has shown herself to be steadfast and a formidable opponent who puts all her energies into what she believes. She has exemplefied a strong character , determination and intestinal fortitude against those who have act lke piranhas. There is no reason for Hilary to be a quiter as she has every right to fight ahead.

What is the appeal for Obama? perhaps in 2012 but not for 2008. I find Obama to be impressive but his record and expertise pales and glaringly so compared to that of Hilary Clinton's. perhaps deeds over political visuals is what america should be concentrating on instead of the subversive sexism with the introduction of Obama. How to fight against a woman, find an equal opportunity token.

As for Edward's , i have lost all respect for him. From monday to wednesday he has not been stalwart in his thinking and actions.

If Obama wins democratic nomination bet your wallet that on on Jan. 20 , 2009 it will be PRESIDENT MCREPUBLICAN who will be sworn into office.

Re: Obama survives, prepares for general election

That is either a lie, terribly misinformed, brainwahsed or blind. He didn't start nor took part in it. Clinton was, and is, a class act compared to the vile-spewing far right. He never resorted to the same kid of demonizing political assaults and insults. Too smart, too classy and not near the hyporcite.

Great Job Kaleem!

Good job Kaleem. I think this is precisely what most expected. What it proves is that you are an equal-opportunity bitter person who don't like pretty much anyone except a Mormon who wears magic underwear. This puts all your name-calling against Obama and Clinton in some perspective. Pls carry on.

Haircuts don’t cause global warming.

Oh, and Romney spent $300 on makeup ‘consulting’, isn’t that cute?

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0707/4982.html

What does any of this have to do with calling John Edwards gay? Stop denying your physical man crush you have on him, beside now that you know Romney has makeup ‘consulting’ aren’t you feeling ‘it’ for him?

What are you talking about? She was campaigning as hard as he was. To bad if you’re offended that Mrs. and Mr. Edwards don’t roll over and crawl into bed when they face obstacles, even the toughest of ones like Cancer. Maybe you would decide to stay home and let the sickness stop you from living but it’s clear this sickness was not about to stop the Edwards, I applaud them for that. To say he abandoned her when she was sick is a blatant lie and shows lack of character on your part.

No it does not, Faisal. It is the choices that I or any other voter has. Why do I have to love a given candidate just because he/she is running on the party ticket that aligns with some of my beliefs? I pretty much expected this inane rhetoric from you. You have yet to tell me why Obama's is the right choice for America. Please do elaborate his finer points and do refrain from making baseless statements like "educated whites" and such. try to back up his golden boy image with something he has achieved, not what he says. Now go ahead and enjoy life in Sinhole.

UTD, that is so classic of a liberal to ignore the facts and keep on harping on “man crush” and otehr crap you came up with.
Read my post again, I said that he decided to run inspite of the fact that his wife was stricken with cancer, this is not bravery, this is the epitomy of selfishness on his part. You can spin it any way you want, the fact remains that he abandoned his wife for his selfish ego satisfaction.

Considering you are so bitter that you don't like any of the three major candidates, why does it even matter to you? Keep calling names to people/places/politicians. You are not here to be convinced anyway, nor are you here even to discuss. You are here just to have some fun and spew some curses around to get 'em out of your system. Fine. Why should others waste their time typing to convince you of anything? :)

Screw Obama. Screw Clinton. Screw McCain. And while we are at it, screw Bush too. Anyone else you missed??

I guess we'll wait and see.

And Bush continues on to screwing the juice out of the economy in the distant fairydream that one day we will succeed in Iraq. McCain share the same dream with him. Doing that motivated by ego rather than logic is more selfish than anything. The entire nation suffers.

God help us all!

That is right Faisal, run away when asked some pointed questions. You asked me about McCain and I told you what I thought of his plans and actions. When I ask you about the so called "charismatic" racist you come up with excuses? I expected much better from a person of your caliber (you know who think they have other people figured out). :)

BTW: I love you too. Hug hug ... yeah UTD. you can use this as ammo... sadly that is all you have.

Part of the reason I didn't want to type a response was that you completely ignore any response and stick to your talking points (i.e. namecalling) so it usually ends up just a time-wasting exercise. Now that you asked so nicely, and if you promise to behave, here is my response.

Problem with your whole hypothesis is that you mistakenly believe that I actually like Obama, so I will be jumping up and joy trying to defend him. I don't. I do disagree with you on several things though. I don't think Obama is either racist or elitist. And I disagree with you that his pastor being a moron should impact his presidential campaign. I do think he speaks very well, which is a pleasant departure from the current President who is basically a bumbling idiot.

However, and this is probably the kicker here, I think Obama is very inexperienced and his presidency (at least the first term) will be a disaster. Here is why I say that. He will raise taxes and will try to turn US into a hybrid socialist/communist country with government trying to interfere in every thing. I don't like either democrats' fiscal policies one single bit. Obama's foreign policy experience is slightly less than nil, and his public statements reflect a frightening level of naivete and impracticality. His domestic policies towards minorities may be a tad bit fairer compared to Bush, but as B Clinton so clearly demonstrated, don't think ACLU will have nothing to do.

The most important prediction I do make is that all of the above that I typed is pretty much moot and irrelevant. I think McCain will win the genercall elections. Despite all his short-comings, the unending and bruising primary campaign of the democrats has practically offered US Presidency to McCain on a platter.

So there you go. No name calling to diss a guy I don't like. No temper tantrums. Just plain personal opinions.

Cheers!

What we do know that McCain accomplished was that he cheated on his wife who had raised his three children while he was in Vietnam, Then married the rich homewrecker and used her money to launch his political career.

Just like Giuliani, Gingrich and Vitter, McCain and the GOP who run on family values are hypocites.

Here is something Obama has accomplished - fidelity.

Irony is that you are trying to diss GOP for exactly what you did. Bravo. This is an exact modus operand of a democrat. Well Done.

No, I don't know what you've heard, but I have never been unfaithful. I realize that many people are - republican and democrat alike. That's a pesonal decision. I just find it nauseating when politicians run on "family values", judge (and want to legilslate) the morality and values of others - while they are sleeping around, soliciting prostitutes, taking drugs, crusing bathrooms, hitting on page boys, etc.

Then there are the more tolerant politicians like Obama who hasn't been reported to be doing these dubious activities.

Re: Obama survives, prepares for general election

^ No he gets his kicks when someone screams at the top of his lungs "God Damn America" and every stereotype racist comment regarding whites is cheered with fervor by the mad mob. That is what the "distinguished" gentleman of yours like and involves himself in.

BTW: Comment was directed towards name calling.
