I am not condoning it lekin NS ki speeches mey hota kiya hai. There is no substance. Standing 3 km away from a crowd (ok I exaggerated a bit!) behind a bullet proof glass screen, his election rally speeches would be like … aap Pakistan sey mohabbat karte hein, bolo, aawaz nahin aa rahi, zore sey bolo … iss mulk sey berozegari khatam honi chahiye… bolo, honi chahiye ya nahin !!!

He cannot hold a conversation or string two sentences together (in urdu even) without reading from a piece of paper.

Sometimes I wonder how many of PML-N's die-hard supporters on this forum are from the business community or beneficiaries of NS tax amnesty themselves. I know some businessmen in Islamabad whose sole reason for supporting NS is, "woh jee humein tax relief deyta hai." Is this a good reason to support someone?

Me to, I supported him until the azadi march to topple the elected government of Pakistan, this was the final straw. Although I was disappointed by his perform in KP beforehand but was hoping that he would get his act together soon and deliver a model province but he has failed miserably there, and now is just a power hungry politician after the kursi with the support of army, and surrounded by people for whom politics is a business.

I understand where they’re coming from…they are sincere people and most of them are young people so obviously you’re going to see more enthusiasm.

Yes, being soft spoken can be seen as a shortfall in Pakistani politics perhaps…but I would give credit where it’s due.

You may not know, but hearing NS speech is exchanging hearing B*S and getting bored with ‘Gold’. For some the speech of this thug is full of haddis and cheechras (ab haram kee haddi aur cheechra mil jayea tou kiya faraq parta hay), for some there are hopes of haddis (akhir kayee Pakistanis halal kha kha ker thak gayea hain … waisay bhie halal may barkat nahi), and for some their parents and close relatives getting haddis (ab nepotism tou hamara culture hay, haddi agar kisi jannay walay ko milay tou kiya faraq parta hay).

Dekhayain … how great is his speeches … He is voice of 1000 million Modies.

Welcome back, he doesnt believe in giving credit to anyone, he only knows one thing is how to loot the country and increase his wealth at the expense of the poor people and if they stand in his way to gun them down. Does he know how to make a speech, yes if someone writes it for him and if he can read it from that paper.

Your hatred is blinding you. Where were you during musharraf rule when the generals looted the country, perhaps you may remember scandals involving Pakistan Railways, or have you forgotten the many scandals of zardari rule and the title of Mr 10%. There has been no corruption scandal during the term of the current government.

As far is his speeches are concerned this is from yesterday in the parliament.

NS's father had a prominent business which he established in 1939 and which was nationalised by Zulfikar Bhutto in 1972. So the family was very wealthy even 42 years ago, and well before it entered into politics.

Sister, most who attend Nawaz Speeches, they are government servants and are there to get promotion, get into good books of Thug brothers, or to keep their jobs (haddi they get). Some may attend because close one is trying to keep their jobs (again haddi). The reason is that when NS is in power, he uses state resources as government resources and use them as if they are his inherited properties.

But when NS is out of power and have nothing to give from state purse, then only people stay behind him are those who get haddi directly from NS. That is the reason, when NS came to Pakistan during Musharraf time, there was no one to receive him at the airport (even though Musharraf government did not persecute anyone nor was as devilish as Ns government.

You can compare that with coming of TUQ. His supporters were at the airport in huge numbers to receive TUQ even when they knew the cruel and murderer nature of NS government. They themselves experienced cruelty of NS government on 17th June at model town, when NS and his brother (SS) used Punjab police to illegally attack TUQ residence and murdering many men, women and children, brutally in the name of removing barriers in front of TUQ residence. Surprisingly, removal was illegal, as barriers were there around TUQ residence with Punjab high court's permission and directives ... and to take them off, it was criminal offence, as it was against the permission and directive of Punjab high court. But what one can expect from criminals occupying government offices (and that also illegally, as to get there, these thugs massively rigged the election).

Actually, barriers at TUQ residence were legal that should not have got removed ... but barriers around residences of NS, SS, Rana Sanaullah and other PMLN thigs, are all illegal and without court permission or directives, so they should be removed.

He has a fair amount of agricultural income from his farmland. Enough to sustain himself. Plus, hes made plenty in his heydays. Compare that to the mercurial rise of Sharifs, plus their documented loan write offs and money laundering, there is a clear line to be drawn.
