A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. If you dont follow the news, or dont bother to read anything beyond what you can use as gossip fodder, you might as well not read anything.

PTI was never in favor of a full scale military action. Arif Alvi and Shireen Mazari rightfully protested. Imran Khan in his statement clearly said that we are supporting it only to unify the nation on this matter. That is why they postponed the Bahawalpur jalsa as well. Otherwise, the inherent opposition to using the army to launch attacks on your own soil remains. This is not the army's job. This is supposed to be the job of the police force.

He is also the head of jamat-e-islami, and he was visiting the main madrassa of JI. From what I remember, Lahore is a part of Pakistan and anyone can visit it any time (unless you assume it to be a separate kingdom ruled by your highnass Sharif family).
