NFL 04/05 Season

i'm kool - this kinda attitude has been good in the Eagles locker room - he is the vocal leader of the team(if you have seen any pre-games then you'd know)

as for mocking Ray Lewis - it wasn't harmful but funny. :D he already has 9 TDs compare to 5 TDs among Eagles WRs last season! i expect a huge game from him tonight at Dallas - another celebration on Star is coming! :D

p.s. it was a great week for my predictions - only in Titans and Bears i lost - shouldn't have underestimated their defensive skills!!!!!

Did ya guys see the Eagles spanking of Cowgirls!
Especially that play by McNabb, moving to the right then to the left, dodging defensive linebackers, almost sacked and then throws a 60-yard pass to Freddie Mitchell - sheer talent - classic McNabb!!

3 TD passes to T.O as well, who later playfully mocked arguing on the sidelines with McNabb for the cameras :D

LOL - T.O. and McNabb cracked me up! :rotfl:

Eagles sucked the D out of Cowboys! that 60-yard pass to Mitchelll will be shown over and over on the SportsCenter until some one hits a 800 ft. home run or does a spectacular move on the basketball court.

i liked what Pinkston did yesterday - and Lito Sheppard with INT made it so sweetttttttt - defensively Eagles were o.k. - and on 3rd downs there’s an improvement - now they face Redskins who somehow have better pct. on stopping the team on 3rd downs - that will be a test for Eagles to make full of opportunities and play defensively better at home!

rothlesberger will come down to earth..its gonna be interesting to see who wins the first seed in afc..i just don't see steelers winning at foxboro

nfc is just bad

New England at Kansas City - PATRIOTS

cowboys thanks giving game, guess they r gonan lose:)

5 picks were…hmmmm :stuck_out_tongue:

Packers…how about’em? legend Brett Farve and the packs have turned it up! 1-4..now they are 6-4.. 2nd straight week for Longwell whent the Packs won his field goal.

And to all my Redskins fans.. how bout them Eagles? One of the worst run defenses in the league held Clinton Portis to 17 rushes for 37 yards - Nothing is better than a week that includes wins over the Cowboys and Redskins - that’s beautiful.

Oh yeah.. and Fred Smoot can’t cover Todd Pinkston - i can’t remember the last time Pinky hasn’t gotten the better of Smoot, i guess it has something to do with going up against the one player in the league he’s stronger then.

Funniest play of the week:

After the Chambers TD, when someone slapped Feely in the behind and he cried in pain.. :rotfl:

How bout them Eagles? I don't know, considering they've been choking in the playoffs four years in a row. Don't think this year will be any different either :p Same goes for the Colts. Now come Sunday, watch the DeadSkins whoop Steelers' behind big time.

Go DeadSkins!

Bandoostaa - in those years Eagles didn’t have T.O. yet they made it to the playoffs - 4 consecutive division titles - year by year the Eagles have collected enough talent to compete - though i still think the run defence is absoultely terrible.

Finally there’s a team in California outside of Niners and Raiders - Chargers Do It Again - 34-31 Bolts over Chiefs - LT couldn’t run the ball very well but he did scores 2 TD’s as well as catch 10 balls for 57 yards - Antonio Gates and Kassim Osgood each had 92 yards receiving and Gates had 2 scores to go along with them - Eric Parker had 78 yards receiving and 58 rushing - McCardell had 48 yards receiving. Add it up, Drew Brees went 28 of 37 for 378 yards and 2 TDs - he deserves a ticket to Pro-Bowl selection! :k:

Big win for Chargers - looks like Broncos will win tonight and in the next week - the showdown of AFC West will be played in San Diego.

Did you see the Raiders - Broncos game on ESPN Sunday night? It reminded me of the game a few seasons ago vs. Pats at Foxboro (which Raiders lost). Raiders pulled out an upset in 3 ft of snow. Went down to the wire. Best game of the weekend.

This is Eagles year baby. They will win the superbowl this year, finally. Mark my words.
(11-30-2004)

You people are sleeping on the falcons. They are having an absolutely terrrific season. Just wait till the playoff starts. We have a great chance to go to the super bowl. Only teams that scare me is indy and new england. Pitt and philly I respect but I do not fear. I KNOW we can beat their asses.

BRING EM' ON SUCKASSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Falcons are second best team in the NFC after Eagles - why do you fear Colts Atlanta? they just have offense and no 'D' - Falcons match up pretty good against Colts - heck i don't even want Falcons to play Eagles in the NFC championship game(if it goes that way) - we know what Vick can do in playoffs however it's known that both Falcons and Eagles can't stop run as its been proven.

Steelers seem to be the force to be dealt with. The only thing i fear is that ben roethilserberger will probably succumb to the pressure of the playoffs and will most likely experience the Pitts - Redskins game all over again.
No matter what happens though, both ben and steelers seem to have a bright future ahead of them. Let's just hope they can mould a team that mirrors New England instead of Indianapolis.

only reason I fear the colts is because at any given sunday they can hang a 50 in the scoreboard against any opponent. And quite frankly, our offense isn’t as good enough to keep up with them despite the spotty defense of colts.

:hehe: :hehe: falcons can’t stop the run :hehe: :hehe: :hehe:

buddy, we are in the top 5 when it comes to stopping the run. Pass defense is another story. :crying:

interesting point raised by a cnnsi writer this week. Did you know that big ben is yet to throw more than 25 passes in a game so far. They are solely relying on their running game. I see them rolling through the playoff but coming to a halt against the Patriots. I know I know, pitt has already defeated the patriots once. But every dog has its day, and this dog (pitt) has used up their day already against the pats. Next time, the results will be different.

really? you are top 5 in stopping the run? then what the hell happened against Chiefs when two of their RBs ran over your Falcons.

who’s laughing now? :smokin:

hahaha - what a spanking to Packers! 47-17. Brett Farve's streak of 36 games with TD came to an end - it had to happen.

D-Nabb has one of his best games(or half as Boomer rightly put it in McNabb's Greatest Hits :D )

If the Eagles have to start both Steve Sciullo and Alonzo Ephraim at the guards come playoff time, they'll have a hard time - they passed a lot because they weren't confident in their ability to run the ball behind either guy - i am impressed that they did a decent job in pass blocking - Sciullo not being as surprising as Ephraim since Sciullo was an All-Rookie guard for the Colts last year.

i just hope Artis Hicks and Jermaine Mayberry are capable of playing soon - and from there just take it one game at a time.

the best game of the weekend had to be Chargers vs Broncos - what a game it was - the last two minutes were craaaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzyyyyyyy - The pick in the endzone...the penalty for roughing the punter (almost)...whew...

who’s laughing now? STILL ME BUDDY :smokin:

Let me give you a lesson, the nfl season consists of 16 games, not 1. We are still in the top echelon despite that one game.

by the way, what a ass kicking we got in the hand of the bucs. Hopefully we can bounce back. Such a bad game at this point in the season is quite troubling.
