*Classic rivalry, legendary coach comebacks, and Clinton Portis. Personally this is a special treat for me. I remember watching Joe Gibb's Redskins battle Jimmy Johnson's Cowboys back in 1990. I also remember arguing with my uncle drawing X's and O's on napkins during half-time, trying to understand what the big deal was. Announcers would occassionally shout names like Troy Aikman, Emmit Smith and Darrell Green. 14 years have passed and I still like to argue with my uncle. :)
there were a fair amount of negatives in Eagles-Ravens game but overall i m really impressed with how the Eagles responded - a certain ESPN personality (who believed Tecmo Bowl had a spin move) didn't think the Eagles could pull it out - and they did, ha!
The run defense was pretty impressive until Chester Taylor broke that run on a draw play - and it was all downhill after that - i also have to be critical of the defenses' approach instead of going after Boller for the most part they let him dictate the pace - It's pretty obvious that Billick was preparring for blitzing by having Boller dink and dunk down the field - eventually they started with slants since the Eagles were sitting on routes - and then they went deep to Clarence Moore.
i wasn't really worried about TO's celebration peeving Ray (especially considering Ray didn't have that great of a game) - i just knew i didn't want the Eagles' first loss to come at the hands of Baltimore, because i hate them with a passion.
Michael Lewis played a Pro Bowl caliber game (even though i would have rather had him bat down that Hail Mary) - i think he's just as good as Roy Williams just doesn't have the name recognition - Sheldon Brown might be the surest tackler on the team - they were going after Lito because he was laying off too much - Nate missed several tackles but made other huge ones.
i learned a lot about this Eagles team - and i m really looking forward to next week's game against Pittsburgh - tho from fantasy standpoint - i am screwed - i can't make up my mind who to start - McNabb or Big Ben?
Man they had to lose one of these games...i doubt we will see 21 game winning streak anytime soon though..key players were injured but i was surprised how good pittsburgh played..they are no fluke..but it still sucks that pats lost :( ..well atleast the red sox won the world series so i am not all that sad :D
amazing vick just showed why he is the most electrifying man in football. 6-2 going into the bye week. I couldn't ask for anything else. Start printing the playoff tickets falcons fan. The only question now is whether we can get a home game and possibly a first week bye.
A dumb fact everybody in the office have been chatting about today, thought I’d share with you guys
“The Washington Redskins have proved to be a time-tested election predictor. In the previous 15 elections, if the Washington Redskins have lost their last home game prior to the election, the incumbent party has lost the White House. When they have won, the incumbent has stayed in power.” Source

things are looking bad for both New York teams - Jets lose Chad for 2-4 weeks and Giants lost Micheal Strahan for the season.
the Steelers are the talk of the media since in two weeks they knocked out Patriots and Eagles - don’t listen to BSing of BSPN when they show clip of T.O. chewing up against McNabb - in the past when McNabb has had these terrible games, there was not one person in that locker room that would call him on it - and it was a breath of fresh air to see T.O. give it to him - whether it was right or wrong no one else on that team would do it and not even Andy Reid. A normal press conference afer a terrible McNabb game goes like this - people are jumping on T.O. but if anything i don’t even think T.O. was badmouthing McNabb he was saying “You’re the man - it’s going to be okay.” But it was way too late - and Donovan had his worst game of the season this sunday - and week after week he’s looking for less receivers - and had the fifth straight game with a turnover this year - and on offense Donovan isn’t spreading the ball like he was to start the season when the team was playing so well.
Philly will bounce back for sure like Brady and the Co. did but thing is Philly is too much hyped by T.O and if you’ve noticed its TO or nothing mostly why not T. Pinkston He is a great WR as well mix and match and keep the opponent guessing.
Todd is an average WR - don’t get me start on how he was dropping the catches in last NFC championship game
it’s because of T.O. that makes Eagles a superbowl contender - i was disgusted with the Eagles defense except for one player who showed up to play…Sam Rayburn. Andy Reid’s playcalling was atrocious - why if the Steelers are blitzing every play and your offensive line is struggling blocking even a four man rush would you send out five receivers every play? Why would you run a draw on 3rd and five when everytime you get 3rd and 1 you throw deep?
right now i see two problems with the Eagles - their rushing defence ain’t there and they can’t covert on 3rd downs - Eagles are 2/19 on 3rd downs in last two weeks.

Wow i completely forgot about this thread
So what about them steelers? Playing party poopers for two stragiht weeks. Ben Rothilisberger is an amazing QB and on top of that, he's just a rookie.
And this TO mocking everyone and getting mocked back ordeal is getting utterly ridiclous. His main intention to get TDs seems to be to get an oppurtunity to show off his td dance skills and to mock others instead of getting his team a win.
