let me confirm the closest train later this week since i need to know how many people are showing up to call and make reservations. i also need to verify whether they are halaal or not per call.

i checked on zabihah.com and it said that there was a verbal confirmation from the staff that their food was halal, but i dunno, there are a lot of mixed opinions..

The closest trains station is the penn station on 34th st. Straight walk towards East. Penn station is on 7th ave.

^^ thanks nimko and aikajnabi. I guess thats the A, C, E, 1, 2, 9 trains that go to penn station. alternatively, u can take F, V, B, D, R, N to 34th street and walk from broadway to 3rd avenue (u'll work up your appetite that way too :) )

The A, C, and E run on 8th avenue i n this area
1,2,3 runs on 7th avenue
and NRQW as well as the B and D stop at broadway..

Also you can take the D or 1/2/3 and walk two avenues east...
D 1 2 3 are not the options for me :D ... too many transfers...
for others, I just need to take one additional train to take those :P

Doh! 3rd avenue is on teh east side, I dunno whY i was thinking west side!!!
Ok take the 6 to 33rd street, its on Park Ave south, that’s the closest train station there If you’re cming in from Queens, ummm take the N and R to 59th street and lex and trasnfer to the Lexington avenue local…if you’re taking the orange trains (F or V) then take the F to 63rd and Lexington and trasnfer to the 6 at 59th street (with a metrocard)… If you’re coming from Brooklyn, take the 4, 5, N, R, Q, and W to 14th street and transfr to the 6..
