I found that annoying about her as well. In the last episode, she pushes Noor Bano to talk to Shani. WHY??? What’s the need??? Your son is a grown man…he doesn’t need mommy to help find him a friend to rid him of his restlessness. And Noor Bano, herself, told the mother that she won’t talk to Shani unless the mother is also present.
The mother either forgot about that…or chose not to remember it. She want to put all the blame on Noor Bano…because she can’t bear to have anyone think of her nalayak son Shani as being guilty. She has pampered and coddled him way too much…and it’s because of her that he doesn’t feel any responsibility for his mistakes.
Also, Noor Bano wasn’t entirely innocent either. If you look at her facial expressions and her thoughts…she does have a dark side to her. A part of her feels some degree of pleasure in knowing that Shani Puttar likes her…and that she’s more intelligent and more adept at household chores than Shani’s wife, Aliya.
Aliya has acted the part of a simple girl sooooooo well. Her acting is so natural…that she makes me think of ANY girl…that one might know among their friends…or in school…or in their neighborhood. But at the same time…she’s ANNOYING because she’s so naive. You feel sympathy for her because she’s so sweet and gentle…but you also get irritated because she can be sooo obtuse.
