Re: New season, clean slate, fresh training logs
I’ve just started to use this app.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.runtastic.android.pro2
The main downside is that it just eats the battery in under an hour ![]()
Re: New season, clean slate, fresh training logs
Thanks! Looked at the features. Very intimidating. I wouldn't know where to start. The most high tech I get is when on the track I wear a stopwatch if doing reps. And record in notebook with pen. 70s and 80s apprroach I am afraid
What type of distance do u prefer? Mile. 5K. Sprint?

Re: New season, clean slate, fresh training logs
We had a new guest walk over to our shop yesterday. And for the first time, the customer returned. Twice. We are speechless. Savvy investors handed off the shares to those who gravitate towards peak earning, much as bee towards flower.
Re: New season, clean slate, fresh training logs
Went for 3 mile run/walk. The walk portion was thrown in in honor of our only repeat guest. Run was done at varying speed to keep boredom at a distance.
Dinner beckoned. The fat lady bellowed.
Re: New season, clean slate, fresh training logs
So the new app that I’ve used runtastic, hasn’t been syncing my logs with their server and I can’t get it to work but I may know what I’m doing wrong.
Southie bhai, I’ve managed to dig up stats from my previous app, Endomondo.
**They’re bad. I know, I know

Re: New season, clean slate, fresh training logs
I wa going to look at it in detail over weekend. Vaguely recall some link also. Assume that contained details.
App seems cool. Cumulates miles and time to give avg mph. The calories burned equiv to 2 burger’s! In 7h. That puts thinks in perspective. Eat healthy. Great post. Thank you Hunt ji.
Trip around world .001 nice touch.
In a month u will be at 16mph. In 3 months 12 mph. In 6 months 10 mph.
Re: New season, clean slate, fresh training logs
Today was the Mountain Challenge run. 200 ft climb on road. Then run toward mountain.
1900 ft climb. Then down. Then some flats. Then 600 ft climb towards anothrr part of mountain. Then down. Then climb up 1900 ft. Then run down from a different route finishing up at same spot.
Total 15 km or 9.375 miles.
Last year wife did in 2h 35. This year 2h 30. Mission accomplished.

Sat today workoiur. Wife 6 mikes 74 min. Parts on thick grass. So slow.
I tried 6 mikes. Feet hurt. Nike Lunar Glide 2 yr old shoe. Terrible. Niksik if u r reading I had recommended this in ur thread circa 1.5 yrs ago. Apologies. Bad suggestion. Hope u didn't take my suggestion.
So I did 4×1 mile
10m 22
9 m 45
9 m 40
8 m 54.
Last one I ran barefoot. What a difference.
Stepped on left lead toe with 100 m to go. Injured. Blood. But worth it. Bare foot running always gives me confidence.
