After writing , reading , talking and thinking a lot , I am at the result that at this stage developing five divisions of each province as a sub province with a deputy governor will be more helpful and acceptable to all. Rest should be left to their respective provincial assemblies .
What do you say .

Actually he is working for his own area . Historicaly during last 500 years Bahawalpur has never been a part of Multan state or Multan province .

and if the Seraiki belt includes Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Rahimyar khan, Rajan pur, DG Khan, Muzaffar garh, Multan, Lodhran, Vehari, Khanewal, Pakpattan, Layyah, Bhakkar, Mianwali, Khushab etc…this would form a bigger area as compared to the rest of Punjab…
What districts do you reckon would form the Seraiki province? As the ones I believe are Seraiki I have mentioned here, I have left out Jhang and Sargodha although their accent is also a bit Seraikish…

I am still perplexed , why are they not including the Sindh's Seraiki speaking areas in their demand , according to one estimate about 40% of sindhi area has seraiki speaking population ......Period.

and as far as Bhawalpur is concerned , it was an STATE ,that was merged with Pakistan , and historically does have its own independent identity , even the language is called Riasati or something , Not seraiki ....!! technically

Bahawapur was merged in Pakistan but not in Punjab .
Punjab swallowed this state / province under a martial law order of Yahya regime .
The people call themselves ‘Riasti’ but speak Saraiki .
I saw some thing from history .
Meesage of Ameer at the time of merger and a car of of Ameer Bahwapur , Qauid e Azam going on that .

It makes no sense to have such gigantic provinces at all. I am all for small provinces based on administrative grounds instead of linguistics.
So I think there need not be a rule about just 5 smaller provinces in each of the current ones. Rather keeping in view both population and area, there may be more than 5, depending on the need.
I asked the original question because I think there is no way Bahawalpur province could be made, which you were advocating so much earlier. Because even Saraiki PM does not support it.

If Punjab is broken linguistically we will have the following division, the red line I have used divide Punjab into Punjabi and Seraiki province. I dont think it would be easy to do a division linguistically, as we will again have a very big province. I have still not added Jhang and Sargodha in this seraiki province, add that and see how big the province will be. Some people also include Sahiwal and Faisalabad in the Seraiki province. The real reason for dividing the provinces for better management, I dont think will be achieved in this kind of a province.

But why.
Who are we or any party to decide about them , They were merged in Punjab without any reason through a martial law order . They are struggling for it since decades . There was no demand of any Saraiki province since Taj Muhammad Langah separated from PPP in Bhutto era and started talking about this but people of Bahawalpur are struggling since Yahya regime .
Let us talk about Sindh . I am a registered voter in Sindh so it is my province . It will be much better for Sindh to remain under Sindh flag but developing its regions as sub provinces like Larkana, Kharpur .Hyderabad , Tharparker and Karachi .A divisional council with elected MNAs , MPAs and senators with heads of district councils under a deputy governor .

Its strange that some seraikis lay claim on Sahiwal as well as part of their seraiki province although it is a Punjabi dominated city, how will these kind of cities be included in either province. There might be some seraiki districts as well who might not want to go with the seraiki province now.

Punjab has also a natural and historical division of five . Its name is also ‘Punj-aab’.
These are Bahwalpur ,Multan ,Lahore ,Thall and Pothohar .
These can also manage to live with Lahore under Punjab flag with divisional councils of elected MNAs , MPAs and senators with heads of district councils under a deputy governor .
Rest should be left to their respective provincial assembly .

I have wrote at their map once that it is very easy to have a brush and paint the map according to their wish . You will have to ask the districts through referendum .The democratic way .
People of Bahawalnagar and Bahawalpur are not ready to join proposed Saraiki Sooba . Jhang ,Vehari and Sahiwal are now more Punjabi after partition . (Due to migration)

My suggestion is very simple .These sub provinces should get provincial status after approval from their respective provincial assembly and they can merge with each other . You are working on Baluchistan and same suggestion can change whole climate their if we can get agree only one man .Khan of qalt to act as deputy gornor of Qalat sub province ,We can call them state too .Rest three division should also given same deputy gobvernors like one Jam of Lasbelah but there should be no consipiracy . We shall have to listen them and honor should be given to them .

Lets see what proposal comes forward for creation of Seraiki province, after that Hazara province needs to be created out of KP. And then PATA should be fully incorporated inside KP, and something needs to be done about FATA. Either they should be merged together as a province or they need to be added to KP. A lot of work is required in KP, which is necessary too if we want to rid the area from terrorism in the long run.
In Balochistan too, it would be natural to form Southern KP, but not now...maybe at a later stage when the situation there is under control.
