I am all for devalution of power, but wouldn't a seraiki or bhawalpur province (pre-One Unit status) actually make punjab that is left over richer, since I think it is southern punjab that drags punjab down over all? Northern and central punjab (areas around lahore) are very well off.

I am not in favor of a dramatic change , I am now asking for promoting divisions of each province at this stage and than this should be left on their respective provincial assemblies .

about 40% of Sindhi area is Siraki speaking , about 10% of Balochistan ,…why these areas are not Included in the so called Sirakii Province …??

This is an interesting claim but there is no voice or demand from these people so this is not appropriate to discuss on this issue . We are not considering the people's demand yet . People of Bahawalpur and Hazarah have lost many lives in their struggle but there is nothing yet in their favor .

Seraiki province can be made, but I dont think ANP will agree to a Hazara province. prime minster wants to have a strong Seraiki province, thats why no Bahawalpur province on the cards. Similarly instead of losing Hazara, KP would want FATA to be included into KP.

..the point is simple, .... if the Issue is for the rights of Sikaiki people , then these areas should be considered for the new province , else if Issue is " SOMETHING " else , ....ie some elements MQM } who have suddenly become the new Champions of Siraki cause , though they have nothing to do with the Sirakais as such , political rhetoric not-withstanding , and it fits their LONG TERM design then it is something else .

Nice point and I'm sure all the ppl who are supporting Saraiki province will not support them for a separate province for Karachi & Hyderabad!

Looking at present circumstances of Baluchistan I am much sure that redesigning of our provincial structure and overpowering the divisions of all the provinces is the only way to improve the situation ,
Look at Balochistan before 1954 .

No ,red were four states of Baluchistan and rest was provincial administrated area . This was till 1954.
Baluchistan was not a province but a unoin.It has never been a province or country before 1970.

I am sorry link was some way changed .That was a statement of Mr Achakzai about restoration of British Balochistan .
In present circumstance Pakistan needs a new social and regional contract .
You all are concerned about situation of Balochistan .
